maybe it’ll come w/ the second print sagat cover. i’ve gone to a couple local comic stores and they told me the same. then again, they might be wrong
Ok, my previous post seemed like I was placing the blame on the late shipment on Diamond, fine, I admit that, but the truth still remains that Udon missed the time frame and Diamond have had to push the powerfoil #1 back to a date thats feasible for them. That, Udon cannot change now.
True, I thought Udon took the extra time between Street Fighter #13 and Street Fighter II #0 to get ahead of schedule but there’s obviously been unaccounted factors that have ultimately delayed their first books as a publishing company. Its also true that Udon aren’t the only ones with late comics. Just this week, only one of the books I got was actually originally solicited this week, the other 7 were late from last month and two books that should have been released late have been delayed. That’s the way the comic market is these days, does that mean Marvel and DC are unprofessional?
Its easy to blame Udon but as a small business thats just starting up as a publisher, there are bound to be rough patches caused by factors, some of which are beyond even their control
powerfoil #1 has yet to be released as its pending; thus, the diamond shipping lists also state that its a tentative list. By all means don’t always refer to the list in general yet, it’s best to inquire @ the store.

True, but Diamond’s updates, through giving dates for previous late books, are usually fairly accurate as opposed to their Expected lists. So I’m expecting the foil to arrive at stores on March 1st. Sometimes books get pushed forward but most often it gets pushed back again but as the powerfoil has already been printed, its safer to say that we’ll see it between now and March 1st.
I think stores get their lists and updates from Diamond every week and I believe they consist of the updates posted on Newsarama as well as the lists posted on Monday on the Diamond website, enquiring at the store is only affective come Wednesday when the comics arrive at the store as even they aren’t 100% certain what’ll arrive before then (unless they receive their invoice a week early).
Hell yes. I haven’t had the issue with DC but marvel pisses me off all the time (Nyx and Secret War come to mind… GRRRR!!!). It’s just that there’s such a large volume of comics, there’s usually something to hold me over from my other regular titles. UDON doesn’t really have that though.
