Sal any plans on extending the current period with the whole PSN being down almost all week? Maybe make next scoring period only 7-10 days and extend this one?

just thought that PSN would be back up by today… o well as for my matches I beat Alfredurst GOUKEN vs. My (ND2130srk) ROSE 2-0 . As for my other match im a little upset Brooklynese didnt reply to me as i sent him a request 3 days b4 the outage yet i never got a response so we never got to play, I would have definitely won 
no disrespect intended I just did my research (videos and match up practice)

Tough way to end a bad week. With the PSN down, I will reward those that did play their matches. All others will keep their unless a winning fighter bumps them a spot. Should be no more than one spot tho.
Latest report I read was that the PSN would be back up by Tuesday. Sony claiming they are taking this opportunity to add additional security to their network. Still, being down for nearly a week is bad PR and bad way to show the vulnerability of the PSN.
I have enough other stuff going on right now that i’m not extremely concerned about psn… besides, at least netflix still works(just click the sign in button a few times.)

No, I never got any word from either of you as to who won so the Week 20 match was left unplayed. Your 1 loss with Rose goes back to your first time you joined this season, but forfeited your matches. I’ll make a change to the rankings for this week to reflect your win.

Sorry, but it is necessary since the play-in matches and brackets had to be setup with a fixed/current number of members. Any additions or drops now would create planning headaches.
I do plan on a season 3 on ARCADE EDITION, but it will be smaller and shorter. I’ll make an announcement on the blog in a few weeks once I’ve ironed out all details.
Arcade Edition comes out in 2 months, why not just start another SSF4 season?

SAL, once AE DLC is installed you will have the option of Super or AE when starting up the game. It won’t be mixing and matching characters from Super with AE. So you could prolong your season if you wanted to even if some people “upgrade” to AE. Just FYI.
Was about to say the same thing. Before the game starts you will choose either Super or AE. You will not be choosing which version of character at the character select screen. So yeah even if some are waiting for the disc instead of the DLC they would still be able to play their match (unless of course one person’s character is an AE exclusive character).
I thought you wanted to take a break after SB2 anyways? When did you plan on starting Season 3 Sal? If we are going to have an “off-season” you wouldn’t have to worry about S3 till a bit after the disc release comes out anyways.
As per this season I stay stick to the schedule and if this delay gets more ridiculous adjust from there. If we are left with 5 days or something like that to play week 21, decide a draw like last week for un-played matches. Honestly ranking means very little in the Super Brawl.
Superbrawl should be kept as an “Super” version tournament. We can have an AE opening tournament if need be before season 3. I also like the idea of invites to former members to SB. Final rules are at your discretion Sal.
