You obviously are a youngin (less than 30) because ssfv is not competitive like super street fighter 2 turbo. And if you think I’m kidding you can already see with AE coming out it’s becoming more and more a rushdown game and that’s it. There is no zoning, the throwing in the game is ridiculous and if you can spam light attacks you are okay. Anyhow let’s just play nice and keep our opinions to ourselves.

It is all about timing, but I find it more successful when I pull back + throw command. Whenever I press forward, I always get thrown. Or just jab or SRK when you suspect it.

My apologies to anyone I am playing this week. I have been consumed by MVC3 on xbox. But i’ll be back on ps3 tonight hopefully I can get my matches in. If not I would like to be the one that forfeits if it comes to it since I have not made my self readily available as I usually do.
You just need to get down the timing of it. My guess is that you are pressing tech to early. Practice it in training mode over and over.

Part of the reason I dropped my Bison for Fei in the league was b/c of yours and ElGeneral’s Bison. Your Bison made mine look very simple. Some of the problems I had with Bison are not an issue with Fei Long since he doesn’t require the charging. I like using Bison, but I’ve never used a charge character in real competitive play. It requires too much advancing planning to always have a charge ready for offensive or defensive purposes. Bison feels very vulnerable against aggressive characters if you don’t have his EX moves constantly available. Ryu players would kill my Bison every time.
