Don’t worry about a partner, POISON. Anybody wanting to team up in advance can, but any member who wants to play or shows up Monday nite will be paired up with another member. You can choose at that time, or I will make up the final teams before we begin playing.
I do need coorect something I posted earlier. ZABI confirmed he was going to team up with JOK3RFRMBK, and I misunderstood as a result of the posts that ZABI and SWEET_POISON_ were teaming up. My mistake.
The Roster is always changing and seeding doesnt mean to much in superbrawl. It is nice to have a good seed but since there are new members all the time you never know who is going to be good. I joined last year just before superbrawl and was one of the lowest seeds and came within a round from making it to the final four. Jay19000 started at the bottom and if superbrawl would of started when he joined he could of been a favorite to win it even though he would have a terrible rank. It would be nice to have a region tournament even if it wasnt possible for superbrawl. Not necessarily this year but something you could think about for next year.

Good games to everybody I played. Congrats Jay and Cuby on the win. I truly underestimated Cuby’s Ken and got hit by the unexpected. I made too many mistakes vs Cuby and got a bit impatient in those sets. Either way, I’m happy with my second place and I’ll be using my prize match on my 2nd char, Dhalsim. Don’t know how it works if I got 2nd, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to challenge the Gold Division Champion.
The league continues to become more interesting as it continues to grow, strong players are joining and giving everybody a run for their money. This tournament has truly motivated me to become better. Next time we meet, I’ll be much stronger!
Well, how am I supposed to know that if no one tells me? I can understand if a losing fighter doesn’t report a result of a match, but wouldn’t a winning fighter want to report his victory?
I’ll restate the Bronze Division rankings based on this result, despite it coming after the deadline. Please do not let this happen again.
Great 2vs2 Tournament last nite. Strong showing of 24 members creating 12 teams. Crazy, long nite for me running and playing in the event. ZTI carried our team as I probably wasn’t playing at my best with so many things (good and bad) going on during the event with other matches. Oh well, still a fun time!
My apologies to anyone confused by the setup in the beginning and for the delay in starting the event. Lessons learned for next time to clearly state the rules in advance to EVERYONE and start at a specific time, no excuses.

Hey SA I cant say it enough that you are doing a phenomenal job and that I am glad to finally be a part of this league. But I have to say I am a little frustrated that I got hit with a forfeit when I clearly tried with the one gentleman and he replied, “no because I am training.” Even with that I see now he has been kicked out of the league (Look at your blog) for not playing. I’ll take the blame on my other opponent, (even though i dont want to lol) but I shouldnt have to for a guy who didnt even play his matches. And if this isnt the place to bring this up let me know. I can either send a PM or message via PSN. Thank you again and I am hoping to get my matches done this week.

This is a good place to address it as any as it allows other members to read it & possibly answer their questions.
I’m assuming your talking about DenaycousDee_85. This goes back to the rule of no-play-automatic forfeit. Had you played your other match versus Jok3rfrmbk, then you would have won the match versus DenaycousDee by forfeit since DenaycousDee hadn’t played either of his matches. Playing one of your matches shows at least some effort to play compared to someone who didn’t play either of their 2 matches. Ultimately, that is the fairest way to make a ‘decision’. As I say, it pays to play. Even if lose one of your matches, that committment to play could gain you a win in your other match over someone else who doesn’t want to play.
I never want to get into a ‘he said, he said’ issue so all I can do to make a decision is see who played their 2 matches and who didn’t. DenaycousDee had forfeited two matches in Week 11, so a second week of forfeits results in being dropped from the league. The same fate awaits you unless you play your matches this week. I know you will play as you are very active member. Good luck!
Note that Jok3rfrmbk also forfeited the match, so neither of you benefited from not playing. Had he played his other match, then he would have been awarded the match against you since he played one of his matches. The current rules are in place to prevent anyone from taking advantage of a situation or possibly dodging an opponent. I’m not saying that happened here, but that is the reason for the current rules for no-show matches.
That is cool man. I appreciate the response. I really wish when you sent messages on psn that there was a cc option. I know what you are thinking. This is not a work environment. lol Just saying though.
