I’m just an average player with a lot to learn, but while I might get frustrated for a round playing a mashing SRK player, the other rounds are easy to win since all I have to do is bait them into using SRK over & over then counter. Even with a sweep or throw.
And I can atest that Deltron2020 is hardly a masher. Some of the randoms I played last nite were. :<
honestly cloud you are just a sore loser, anytime you lose to someone in this league lately you been super salty and have called them a bad player, according to you how should this game be played? I understand calling me a bad player but deltron is one of the best players in this whole league, no disrepect to anyone else but that is a fact, not say that he doesn’t belong in teh gold division is one of the most stupidest things i have heard anyone say, and aren’t you maining seth now? one of the cheapest characters in the whole game, i am pretty sure that deltron read your jump ins and srk’ed you on reaction, i have played hiom offline and he is anything but free, anyone that has beaten him including top calibur tourney players has not been free. Clould stop complaining and learn how to lose like a former champion of this league smh
Let’s talk facts, CLOUD.
The fact that DELTRON2020 came in 2nd at the SUPER BRAWL tournament is further evidence of his skill level. He was the only member to have one of his fighters eliminated in a mirror match (his Rufus lost to his Ryu). He defeated ElGeneral’s Guile, and lost a close match to Skrface13 in the finals.
The only reason he began in the Silver Division this season was due to a couple of early losses last season, thus, his winning percentage (74%). He ended last season as the #4 ranked fighter in the Gold Division, before his 6-1 run in the final tournament. He is off to a 3-0 start this season.
Your record over that same time period is not as stellar.
I’m not trying to defend Deltron here, but I have no patience for members squabbling over ‘cheap’ play or other play that isn’t ‘respected’…over & over again. I still can’t believe one former member quit the league because he wanted me to outlaw throws. Honestly, it was ridiculous.

This dispute should be settled Daigo God’s Garden style. First to 10, 2/3 round matches. If excuses stil arise after more than 10 matches, then that’ll be just plain ridiculous. I or anybody else should host it and save the matches on HDD.
I might just host a 8 man Gold division first to 10 tourney, with 8 who i think might be the best players from the gold division or 8 of the best players in the league. There of course will be no sfccl prize, since this is an unofficial event. All you gain is braggining rights, and of course decrease the level of saltyness in the gold division. If SAL likes the idea, of course he can run it himself and make it an official event. The rules will mirror god’s garden exactly, so look it up if you want to know more about it. Just a tought

I believe they played a set to more than 20 and it was something like Deltron 20 - Cloud 6. It was after the first championship fight a while back during Season 1.
I demand a spot on this tnmt!!! And would play someone for a slot if not invited! Lol…all in good fun.
I like the saltiness and trash talk in the gold division. Glad I am in it this year. As long as everyone actually understands its in good fun and we won’t see any drops or threats from it, it def makes it more fun.
BTW - I will def be on tonight if anyone wants to get an Endless Room going.
Once again the simple thing is this you mash… offline mashing don’t work… therefore u would lose its really a simple concept to understand. Sure you beat me but I don’t have to respect your unskillful playing style. When I watch the replay and see u ‘‘Churning Butter’’ on your stick to get out a SRK no one is going to respect you for that. If mashing punch + forward down forward is considered skillfull play, than I would rather be known as a salty noob. Also Elgeneral would gladly tell you himself that at the time he had no clue how to play Rufus so yeah it was ez. He knows he needed work against Rufus. He still struggles against my Rufus. Right now he would even tell you himself that if we prolly played for the title 90% chance I would take it from him.
Also SA talking about his position in the league ? and about my position being worse #1 I held the championship unlike him #2 I held it indefinitely until the end of the season witch is the only reason I ever even lost it in the 1st place. #3 the only reason your even ranked ahead of me Deltron in the 1st place is because of that Superbrawl. In which I lost to the winner of the entire thing so I don’t feel too bad losing to such a good player. If anything the fact that I was champion for 6 weeks before the Superbrawl shoulda came into play when starting this seasons rankings but apparently being champion didn’t matter.
If you wanna talk about facts of the matter of u not belonging in your position wheres your championship ? me elgernal and srk face have our championships and have held it for multiple weeks and you haven’t even touched it yet and how many shots have you had at the championship ? SA could fill us in on that. I even beat you to defend my title and if not for the Superbrawl I would have most likely been the longest reigning champion. How many times have you lost to the players currently above you ? and how many times did I lose to them ? as far as I know my only loss was to SRKFACE and maybe a loss to Fran_gil. If you wanna throw facts in my face, There is the simple facts.
AND flash and Deltron are brothers of course Flash is going to back up his brother cause that is what brothers do, but neighter of you can argue those simple facts up above therefore your comments and arguements are mute. And Ryu vs Seth srsly ? your main vs my 5th choice character you better have won or it would have been pretty embarrassing. you guys need to take online with a grain of salt. Just because you win online doesn’t prove anything. You need to place at a major or in big tournaments.

Not for nothing but people mash off-line. Going to arcades from NY, to Tokyo to Hong Kong, people mash because the reversal window in SF4 is so large. But mashing doesn’t equal auto win either, you can adjust to srk mashing.

I play in Japanese arcades when I’m in Japan during winter, every night and I have never seen anyone mash in Shinjuku or akihabra Game Centers… idk where you got this information from. Unlike scrubs in america, Japanese players know how to block on wake up. Block on wake up is the best option on wake up 9/10 times. American players need to learn to block more and DP wake up less.
I was in Tokyo in the Winter of 08. I’m not saying all people did was mash, but srk buffering (mashing) during block stun, was def happening. If the person sniffed it out they baited it.
Edit: You mention “on wake up” I was assuming Cloud was complaining about during blockstring after a jump in which was what I was also referring too.
Daigo mashes during block strings, at least sometimes. It was documented during 2009 money matches. Wakeup DP is not equal to mashing, though you can mash to get a reversal wakeup DP.
BTW, I like the saltiness. It makes me want to get back in and make you guys lose to a scrub like me. :lol: I seem to remember OCV’ing Clouds entire team in a SFCCL tournament. So take your pick on your character, but you lost to me. Therfore, you are not good. But I will say that was a while back and you could be better now. I hope you are. But like someone said, go win an offline major online is just practice not super serious. I do like the spirit though. And I hate online mashers as well, but it’s online. So…

this dispute was already settled in battle when it mattered and guess who won? the point of this whole flame war was not to state who the better player is(which is me ofcourse) but to call out ultima on being such a salty player and sore loser. its one thing to a take an L and move on but to downright degrade someone’s skill level is just insulting and disrespectful. there will always be a lame excuse when you lose UltimaClit. whether it be because of lag, randomness, or simply because their character stared far too long into your character’s eyes during the match. Why can’t it just be because that player was better than you for that set? No one will ever know. but hmm lets see… i have faced skrface twice only in superbrawl so that’s 1-1. Elgeneral once in SB 1-0. zti once with viper(not ryu) this season 0-1. SFgodfather once in final four i believe and one this season 2-0. And lastly UltimaCunt 2-1. You are right on one thing though, i never was champion though i only had one chance at the spot and i blew it. week after SB started and the rest is history. please don’t sit there and lie saying you “truly” defended your title when most of the top players mentioned were still at a lower division because they joined the league late. see the thing is i really don’t have to defend myself, more than enough people do it for me. how come no one backs you up? its because of the shit you spit out your mouth and people are tired of smelling it. please learn to respect the players in league bro its that simple. if you want a winner from this dispute fine, congrats ultima you earned it.
