Yeah Matix has not been on either. Would hate to win or lose on a schedule conflict, but what can yah do.
I think during the tournament a draw would basically equate to a double forfeit. So if you both played your other match it would be a draw, but you both would be out. Similar to how SF4 works in arcades. You both lose your quarter. :sad:
Schedule conflict is one thing. Not acknowleding messages is completely another. I’ve sent him various messages, including emails. (I have been VERY annoying this past week to anyone who had not palyed their matches or contacted me all in attempt to get as many matches completed) WILD_X_187 waws lucky enough to play him in his other match, but MATIXX_ has not replied to any of my last couple of messages.
You are putting more effort in trying to make the match happen, which is more than he is trying to do so far. Things like that do go into my decision making when having to close out open matches.
You could let the higher seed advance in a draw. Obviously there are ways to exploit any scenario, but whatever you decide is cool, SAL.
I DO NOT WANT DRAWS OR DOUBLE-FORFEITS IN THIS TOURNAMENT. Someone will lose, and someone will win, even if I have to decide who. Remember, previous forfeit losses can come back and bite you if a decision has to be made. I want all the spots filled for Round 2, even if they didn’t really ‘win’ their 1st round match.
For older members who have been in the league for many weeks, any forfeited losses from the season are taken as a percentage of their total matches. So, for example, if one member had forfeited 3 times over 10 weeks & his newer opponent has forfeited 2 of his matches over 4 weeks, the loss would go to the newer member who only has a 50% completion rate, while the older member has a 70% completion rate.
There is an unwritten rule I did come up with going into SUPER BRAWL: no fighter will advance more than 1 round via forfeits. So, for any fighter that again cannot play their 2nd round opponent after advancing via forfeit win in the 1st round, that fighter will automatically forfeit their next unplayed match. This is a strict rule put in place to prevent anyone from coasting thru the tournament via forfeits by their opponent. I expect the matches to be completed much easier as the tournament advances as the more serious, motiviated members begin fighting each other.
So be warned - if you benefit from a forfeited win in the 1st round, you’ve used up your only ‘free’ match & must play the rest of your matches. If not, you automatically forfeit. If two fighters meet after each advancing via forfeits, then other factors like previous forfeits, attempts to contact me & complete their match come into play for a decision.
SBL, yeah i figure a draw is a loss, hence why I don’t want that to happen.
Sal, I think those are good rules. Honestly forfeit to my benefit or not, I just want to play my matches win or lose. That’s the enjoyment for me, not really the result. So hopefully Matix gets in touch with me soon.

my dalrog opponent dionysus-x accepted my friend request yesterday after i sent it to him 2 weeks ago, i would have to see my balrog foreit because of this, i was wondering what some of my options where
i jsut tried to fight my second round match up with deedog and he had the roudns set to best of 3 , which under leagues rules we know it best of 5, he beat me while i was trying to send him a message i just want to make sure not everyone knows what happened , i have rarely had a problem with anyone in the league in terms of matches, i just wan tto make sure that everyone knows that the acutally fight did not happen because the rounds where not correct and dino has not signed in all day
Why did you continue to play the match if it wasn’t set correctly? Seems weird. Maybe 1 match but not the 2 out of 3. If he just won the first one the match isn’t finished. It’s best 2 out of 3 - (5 round matches)
