Probably not. Going into next season, I’ll value a lesser-skilled-but-dependable member over an unknown quantity. The idea of having a smaller, 32-member league is meant to have a tighter community of committed players. Also, with a tighter community of active players, the rankings & divisions should be more reflective of the actual skill of fighters. Everyone will find their spot in the league in a division of equally-skilled players over time.
All new members would be placed on a Waiting List. If someone were to be kicked out or drop out, then the first person on that list would join the league. If not, then the next person in line and so forth.
The hardest part will be cutting out current list of members (64) to the new 32 for season 2. More than skill, I will go start with how many forfeit losses a person has to determine if they are in or out.

Also glad you got one of your matches in. SUPERGRIFF is one of the new members, so I don’t know much about him. Of course, after playing your BLanka, I don’t think I would be too friendly either. But that’s any Blanka.
Your other opponent, DIONYSUS-X, hasn’t been online in 10 days & hasn’t played his other match either.
ANAKINY2K - there is hope for you to play SUPERGRIFF now. Be sure to play him as you might not play your other match versus SNHAKUMA. Best to at least play one match than none at all.
I really appreciate everyone playing their matches. With the possible unforunate forfeits of AWDDSM & DJCACARA due to PS3 problems, 58% of 1st round matches are bascially completed. The Red Bracket has 12 of their 16 first round matches complete, while all other divisions have 7 completed matches each.
The majority of the remaining matches are held up by these guys that haven’t online in days:

C0nspire86 - 24 days (ElGeneral / xx_VON_xx)
Ciigloman - 7 days (Amore_Rekloos / Feiinweltall)

DJCacara - 13 days (Zabi- / Kirkj)
Snhakuma - 16 days (ElGeneral / Anakiny2k)
If these matches are not compelte, then obviously these guys will forfeit since they have not been around for lenghtly periods of time. Hate to lose AWDDSM and DJCACARA this way tho. It also sux that ELGENERAL and FEIINWELTALL got matched up twice against these MIA players. At least, after this round, we won’t have to deal with these guys ever again.
Just sent a massive amount of emails, PMs, and PSN messages to all the players in the open matches. Hopefully the rest are played in the next 4+ days.
I apologize guys for any problems. As I always look forward to my league matches unfortunately this was my 2nd PS3 to go down the the yellow light of death. Im really hoping to get my refurb system by the end of the week but its now looking slim chance as the tracking numbers show that they just recieved my broken system yesterday. No telling when they’ll ship out the new one
When my system went down, they shipped out my refurb unit the same day via UPS 2-day. The service center was in Laredo, Texas, which is only about 2 hours south of San Antonio. Because of that short time, I actually received the refurb unit in 1 day.

Good stuff, ZTI. :tup: No offense to the others, but did you notice we have, arguably, the toughest bracket in this thing. At least my potential matchups are all against the top players (IMO) in this league. You at least get to play me if I beat Jewelman, so you would get a break then. :lol: But then it’s Fran_Gil and his undefeated Balrog. GL with that. :tup: I played him in a few casuals before, and he’s pretty solid. I haven’t played everyone in the league, so obviously there might be some hidden talent that I don’t know about. But I’d be surprised to see anyone other than one of us 4 winning the Black Bracket.
Well, I haven’t really played many people from the league besides you, XxUltimaCloudxX, and Skrface so I’m not to sure about the skill level of most of the other players. However, I’m pretty sure my Sakura is gonna knocked out buy Skrface (If not sooner by SuperGriff) and if that guy Fran_Gil is as good as you say he is, then it looks like alot of tough matchs for my Cammy in that bracket. :bgrin:

Naturally, the newer members don’t have as an impressive record as the older members since they’ve played for a couple of weeks. However, being a member of this league could indicate more experience and skill level. Nonetheless, the Blue Bracket has the highest cumulative winning percentage and the Red Bracket has the total number of wins by its fighters. Marcopolo177’s fighters are both in the Blue Bracket, and ElGeneral’s fighters are both in the Red Bracket.
But as Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp once said, “Stats are for losers. I like winning games.”
Cool. I like to see those stats for the brackets. Interesting stuff. Here are some other stats to ponder. :tup:

3 are in Black bracket with their mains. Plus Fran_Gil is a beast with Balrog but not as many points. I know GP are not an end all be all for ranking someone’s skill. And there are great players in all the brackets. But I’m just saying. I play 3 of them in a row from here on, assuming I keep winning. So, we’ll see. Should be fun. :lol:
It’s gonna be fun for everyone, so I’m just pumped to get the opportunity to play some of these guys since they are mostly new and in the lower seedings of the bracket. I hope some of the later rounds get recorded. It’d be nice to see the upper echelon of the league duking it out. I guess I’ll have to just keep winning to make that happen. :razzy:

what’s the deal with this RyuResurrection guy? I haven’t heard from him about my matches. The last thing I wanna do is have to forfeit my match. Have you heard from him at all? :wonder:
Nothing. He is a guy that signed up for the SFCCL via a PSN message only. I’ve never seen him anywhere else on the net. He won his other match in the tournament (vs Tigerz_Bone_21).
Keep messaging him. The one thing that I don’t like is that he has not acknowledged any of my messages I’ve sent. That is a big “No No” when dealing with me. We could have the highest percentage of completed matches this week, over 60%. However, that means I will have to ‘decide’ 20+ matches Sunday nite.
Last weekend to play ROUND 1 matches. Get them done guys!
