Just to confirm, I am still deliberating coming back for a second season of the SFCCL. Now, if all members were like you, CC, SBL, and CLOUD, then my decisiion would be easier since you guys consistently play your matches. It’s the other half of the league that occupies my time. With my own personal life getting busier recently, I don’t look forward to another 12 months of this same ole thing. So, if I do decide to come back for another season, there will be a lot of changes to make the league more efficient from my perspective. That includes, but is not limited to, making the league much smaller. The ‘Waiting List’ would also be something I would do to replace anyone who drops out, gets kicked out, etc. Bottom line, I want the league to be more exclusive and eliminate all of fairweather players. The Waiting List will hopefully eliminate any of these hangar-ons without actually disturbing the integrity of the rankings & make the overall league more stable.
CLOUD is going to be running the SFCCL 2v2 League with my input to the overall league. No way would I attempt to run two leagues at the same time. We spoke the other nite about some matters regarding the 2v2 League. Everyone who joins would clearly see the same type of structure and organization as this original SFCCL.
I will make my final decision regarding the 2nd season (including any possible changes) by the end of the SUPER BRAWL tournament.
You could split the year into 2 seasons. Having an offseason during holidays between thanksgiving and New Year. Just a thought. Also I think my Internet is back to 100%, so I will be on PSN tonight if my opponents want to play.
I also really hope you come back for another season it has been really fun and i thank you once again for doing it. SBL’s idea is qute good then it gives you abit of a break from time to time. Anyway im sure anyone who really wants the league to carry on will help out anyway they can.

You’re Guile is much better. Dhalsim seems almost free for Akuma, but I just started trying to play him so I don’t really know how all the matchups are supposed to go. GL in your other match. :tup:

Thanx for the results guys, and all the kind words. I’ve taken all of the ideas we’ve tossed around here seriously for the 2nd season.
I lost my first SUPER BRAWL match to one of the new guys, KAZIGLUBEY’s Sagat with my Bison. Match came down to 3 phases and he won all three. First, he was very good at getting me in a bunch of block-throws (whatever you call the jumping-attack-into-a-throw-while-stuck-in-a-block). Didn’t know Sagat could do that so well and he did it consistently. Also my weakness to defend against it cost me as I simply didn’t expect him to abuse it the way he did with a Sagat. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a Sagat do that. Second, my rust was apparent as I rarely connected on any major combos. Just couldn’t get the scissor kick to come out consistently. And finally, he had to have landed over 50% of his unsafe Tiget Uppercuts and Tiger Knees as I simply played poor defensively & got caught many times. No excuses for my play as I deserved to lose. Congrats to KAZIGLUBEY for knocking me off and advancing to the 2nd round. His spacing and retreating with Sagat’s short attacks was also excellent.
I’m probably the highest upset so far, based on seeding. Shame…
Yo ultimacloud. Would you be so kind as to mute the music by default on the 2v2 website? Also, just FYI, all the flash used on it makes it virtually empty on the iPhone. It just looks bad. On a full computer it’s fine though. Just letting you know.
ahh…didn’t know that was the situation. I can hold off if you want to wait for your stick. I am usually on after work every night. Around 9pmish to midnite. Just let me know when you want to get the match in.
as with the music u can just pause it. I was originally planning on having it run in the backround with no controls lol. but so far I have had alot of praises on the music actually. If I do get alot of negative requests on it though I will mute it for you guys but so far your the only one.
Also as for the Iphone thing not much I can do lol I never really thought I would have such a wierd issue X_x.
I know I can just pauses it. That’s why I specified “by default”. If there was a user specific setting for it that would be cool too. As for the iPhone issue. It’s not really a “weird” issue. Just probably a new issue for some people to think about. Anyway. I was just letting you know. No big deal. I obviously can’t look at the site at work though if you leave the music on. But I shouldn’t be do that anyway I guess. :lol: the forum seems to work on the iPhone so it works enough for that.
Ok then sounds good the I phone thing was wierd to me as I have never owned a cellular phone and just figured it would show up properly without problems. And yeah no real need to look at it at work really or u could just use ur phone for it >.< depending on your job if ur allowed to use ur phone lol
