I’d appreciate any help you guys can offer in spreading the word about Week 25 being posted. I recorded my league match vs. COOI_BREEZE’s Akuma a while back. A very poor showing by me, but he was the main reason. His Akuma was aggressive while playing very safe. Study the vid, ANAKINY2K!

Looks like the League is temporarily on hold (for some) until the current ERROR problem gets cleared up. This includes me. I have two 60gb original BC systems. Can’t get online with either one. Both show a date of 12/31

GGs, SBL. His BALROG rocked my KEN once again, 2-0.
Your a great BALROG player, SBL. I don’t hink I’ve beaten a Balrog player in the League…ever. I came close several times against DEVON202, but never won an official league match. His power and overall attacks are tough to scheme against. He can turtle, but he can also come after you with his reach and speed. I tried to bait you in, SBL, and take advantge of you with some basic combos. Unfortunately, I missed a lot of easy combos. What really threw me a loop was when Balrog hit me from more than a full screen away with an EX dash punch as I was jumping back. That is an attack that went more than a full screen away, like a fireball. I’ve never been hit like that, so I really was scrambing after that. Won one round when I was able to keep the pressure on you, but overall found it difficult to be on the offense against any skilled Balrog. Props to you, SBL.
Thanks. Normally EX dash punches shouldn’t be done fom full screen, but when a ryu or Ken is doing the jump back roundhouse constantly I try to punish it when possible. I did record our matches, but I haven’t uploaded them yet. I recorded a set with ElGeneral as well. He won the first 2 and I won the last one. We still need to finish that first to 10. I’ll let you know if and when I put the matches up.
Sal, if SBL puts the matches up, I’ll see if I can give you any pointers on the matchup.
