That being said you were sounding like you had trouble understanding the rules since you asked about using both characters. With SAL on the fence about having a second season when SSF4 comes out, all the people needing their hands held instead of reading the rules and the schedules will probably push him to not have it again. Which is too bad, since it has been fun. It doesn’t take being in the league for years to start to understand SAL’s frustration.

If you are referring to me above, I don’t see how that fits into the on-going conversation of playing your matches.
I did take offense one nite in the text chat that a certain member taunted me after scoring a dizzy on me. That type of taunting is a bit much. This league is meant to be a community of players that all respect each other. I’m not interested in the trash-talking or showing up another player. So, for a member to bluntly taunt me after a dizzy, I do take offense to that. Do that to some random opponent online if you want. But have a little more class when playing in this league. Its something that I value for this league, and hope that I demonstrate by example.
In regards to the new members not fully understanding how the league works their first week, it’s not a big thing for me. I expect it and am happy to explain the situation. Its the members that have been in the league for a couple of weeks (if not longer) that go AWOL and don’t have the courtesy to let me or their opponents know if they are still in the league.
Rarely, if ever, has a player been kicked out of the League for inactivity ever protested to being kicked out. Of course, it shouldn’t come to that.

i have added both my opponents and i am waiting for them online today all day if i have to i do nto want to not fight my matches, sorry i am later than usuallly my job and school are killing me but i will def remind part of the league.
On the taunting topic i am guilty of taunting during a match, but to counter-argue your point since we are a community when someone taunts me i take it as playful banter the way that ken taunts ryu in the opening movie of sf4. So if anyone i have taunted in the league and took offense to it i apologize but i don’t use the taunt as a disrespect instead of a playful i got you this time knowing that with teh great amount of skillful players we have in this league they can get me just as easily
i agree that taunts are just part of the game. If im beating someone pretty bad i will occasionally throw in a taunt but like flashfan said i just use it as playfull banter. I dont really get how you can take offence at something that is intended as a joke. I mean it aint like you got taunted by a DAN!!!
I also would like to appologize jewelman i read SAL’s post above yours and got abit confused. And we werent saying what we was saying because we have been in the league for awhile (it isnt quite a year old yet) but in the ammount of time we have been here we have noticed some new players get a bit stuck and we merely try to take some preassure off SAL by lending a helping hand and stear them in the right direction. Once again sorry.
Oh yeah sal i want some casuals at some point i need to practice against ken.

To each their own on taunts. Perhaps my experience over 17 years have taught me that taunts lead to more trouble than good. Perhaps I’ll tell you guys some stories some time. For someone like me that doesn’t like it and grew up playing without it. Other people…they take it a bit more seriously. And you are putting yourself on the line anytime you play someone you don’t know, or more importantly, that doesn’t know you.

Either way my Guile beat Cool_rain’s Rose 2-0. My other match did not get played because I could not seem to get a response from Snow-Unleashed. I added him to PSN, which he accepted. Then on Thursday he was online, I messaged him to play our matches, and I got no response. I have not been able to get a hold of him since. Sorry I didn’t get that one finished. Here is hoping the coin falls in my favour.
