Feel free to play your RYU vs. Silvagst3 KEN, but the result won’t matter (other than Silvagst3 KEN rank next week if he wins or loses) since you want to change RYU for SETH next week. Your SETH will start will at the bottom of the A Division.
Really that seems wrong. I would think you should complete all adjustment based on results and expulsions. And then change characters and drop to bottom. You know since ryu earned whatever ranking first. I only say this because of the possibility of moving up to bronze by people leaving the league.

Not quite sure what you’re saying here. But I will elaborate on how it will work.
Currently, your fight is in the A Division (#2 Sbl21 Ryu vs #3 Silvagst3 Ken). Normally, the winner goes up to the #1 contender rank, while the loser falls to the #5 ranking. Since you are changing Ryu to Seth next week, the rankings will be shuffled a bit. if you win the fight, Silvagst3 Ken will fall to #5 in the A Division rankings, however, your spot at #1 will be empty since you are switching to SETH. The rankings was earned by Ryu, not Seth. Therefore, Seth begins at the #15th ranking in the A Division, and will not benefit from any ‘auto promotions’ if someone drops out, like Gingersnap. With Seth starting at the bottom, everyone above him in the A Division (from #2 thru #15) will move up one spot, so Silvagst3 KEN would end up being #4, instead of #5.
If Silvagst3 KEN wins the match, then he rightfully goes up to the #1 ranking. Seth still begins at #15th ranking, but everyone between #6 thru #15 would move up one spot to fill the void of Ryu at #5 had he remained.
As I said in my initial post, the result of the match is only important for Silvagst3 since he will be fighting for #1 or #4. You can prevent him from moving up, if want to be a big meanie! lol
I disagree with how you are doing it, but u make the rules. So I guess I will stick with Ryu 1 more week.

Hey SAl i had abit of an idea could on the capcom stats or whatever could you put down wether people use a stick or fightpad or whatever (will have to ask people what they use of course) I just think it would be good to know how well you do against people depending on what controller they use.
Why would this be good? I see no value in this unless you are a pad player and it boosts your ego by beating people that use a stick because you think they have an advantage. Even then it doesn’t matter. I mean we might as well make a list of all CRT, plasma, and LCD TV users while we are at it.
