Thanx for stopping by. Accepted your Request over on the SFCCL FB group. Glad to have another local at least look at the league. Not much interest over there about joining the league. And based on the latest events at the recent get togethers, I am in no hurry to go to a live event in town. Crazy group over there!
Haha yeah, I feel where you’re coming from BUT it was more or less a two-time-thing. Do not get me wrong, we like to drink & get hyped but the shit that happened at Roger’s was a bit much. Glad that everyone’s kissed & made up because he has a good attitude and is back to hosting again. Honestly, the group is good! It just takes a while to get used to all the banter. Tons of knowledge. One reason why no one was willing to join the online league is because almost all of our local cats go to majors all the way up to EVO, so they are trying to play online as less as possible. Me, well, I just want to play! I don’t care if I’m online or not, it’s all fun.
You should come and meet some of your locals though… even if you only come to one event a month, it’ll be fun. Who knows, maybe you can branch out and get a few more in the league once they meet you. The FB group should be taken extremely lightly outside of event/meet-up posts since a lot of the group have been friends for a long (LONG, LONG) time. There’s definitely a renaissance taking place though, just not sure what it’s leading up to. 
Oh I get what you’re saying. Its a great active community over there, and I am glad to be a part of it. Good to have the ear of the local gamers. I’d like to go to one of the meetings soon. Just got plenty of things occupying my time these days. Playing online is a convenience thing since I can jump online at anytime. Love that luxary. Not all of us can get out to the live events so it a good alternative.
Fully agreed! I play online often. I’m one of the few here in our scene that doesn’t talk smack about online play. I understand why it’s not the same as playing offline but the whole convenience thing is totally true. I live out in Helotes so I’m not able to make it all the time to some of the far gatherines. Luckily though, most of the community lives on the northwest side so that makes it easy a lot of the times.
I’ve been thinking about starting an online league for a while but there’s no need now! Weird that we both live in the same city, too. If you’re ever looking for some in-person help man, do NOT be shy! This is something I’d love to be a part of even outside of competing in it. If you want some help keeping the records straight/anything else, holler at me mang. I live a few miles out from Bandera & 1604… have truck so willing to meet-up where ever mostly.

Sounds good man. I will keep you in mind. Take a look around the SFCCL site. Let me know if you have any questions. We had a differetn format (which I preferred) in the first two seasons, but the last two seasons have used the current schedule-format for all members. A lot more flexability and freedom to play at your own pace. Play as many or as little as you want. Only the top fighters with the most wins advance to the end of season tournament.
