To clear up a few topics -

Daigo switched sides to BE p2. Not because I was looking at his hands LOL. Notice game 2 where I was one round away from winning on P1. I’m Sooooo looking at his hands LOL. He adapted to my style like the beast he is.
Every EVO I played vs Daigo or Nuki we flip a coin to be P2. Personal preference :slight_smile:

Next, Daigo was definitely the better player that year, regardless of any issues I had with the random formats, he adapted and got the job done.

As far as people thinking he “let me get close” LOL, he admitted he hasn’t played anybody like me and ,at the time, with an inferior character to what he’s used to. So for that reason, I inspired him to switch from akuma to ryu…

Still don’t believe me?

Shortly after the tourney, I was invited to Japan to attend a “rematch” invitational… But that’s another story…
