SF5 Lounge: Idom Wins. Only Poison is Woman enough for Capcom Cup

I spent the last two years trying to learn footsies…

Now, I’m just going to main Dictator and VS2 right through them.

Man Gill looks cool (and hot, wink wink). Don’t know if it’ll stick but I want to at least try him.

I think the justification for Sakura VS2 not being projectile invul is because she has a move that is already. Imagine if Eagle Spike was projectile invincible plus his VS1. At least that’s my theory

Season 5 will be boss edition. Nothing but Bisons, Gills and Sexy Seths.

And Rashid. Let’s not forget Rashid, SFV’s very own final boss.

Hitting Abigail’s tire with his sweep has it flying across the screen. Recovery is super long though.

Also it gives me the headcanon that he makes car noises is because he’s a car whisperer. That is why he can just call tires like a dog.

Gotta be honest even though it’s in actual english it’s still be hard to understand what the changes really are

Once again the descriptions are garbage. Gotta wait for CFN website.

Specifics, Capcom, please.

I like what I read though, just curious how it’s actually implemented.

Jesus what are these patch notes? It’s all general, hard to understand phrases with no hard numbers
Specifically with "Pshycho Kugel,” the staff’s hurtbox became invincible to projectiles when hit as counter. “Standing MK” can be followed up as well. This change makes this move useful to control the range.

Furthermore, adjustments were made to connect “Psycho Kugel” and “Katapult” from Standing LP. This allows Falke to change back to the aggressor and punish then, when an opponent whiffs their attack.
Woah woah

if the st.MK part is true, meaning she can link standing shot into st.MK, then that is big… also she can combo into her standing shot again from lights, good.

Juri gets her sf4 function stolen again lol

I knew the patch would be small but wow…

Nash got anti-air buffs because yes that’s exactly what he needed lmfao

I think Alex got his normals back.

Yeah I feel like these notes are incomplete or something. They read like like a google translate of a guy who ran through the whole rosters changes in only an hour with no foreknowledge of the actual adjustments

Vega got a new special move that’s supposed to be good against projectiles so that’s cool

The notes seem like Engrish. From what I can tell. Nash’s HK Scythe and EX Scythe are real anti airs. They seem to have the same type of airborne invincibility as Guile’s Flash Kick.

Edit: Also it looks like they FINALLY fixed Ryu’s VT1.

Sounds like Chun’s pokes got more damaging, and maybe better oki from some specials?

Rashid’s pokes got more whiff punishable (I’m assuming cr.HP, s.HK and maybe s.MK?), and mixer oki is nerfed. I’m super curious about that cr.MP change though! Maaaaybe a juggle state?

So if these patch notes are true

Falke literally has the SF4 Juri store combos now

Whoever is in charge of the balancing of this game sure likes to spread her SF4 functions across the cast except herself lmfao
