I actually don’t know shit about DB. I only saw one the first episode with Kid Goku and Belma. I think it was okay enough and kinda want to try out Kid Goku (even though everyone hates him), but other than that, I don’t have any attachment to the series.
I just think the game looks great and fun.
I may also get BB Tag instead, though it’s not on sale.

I’m being suspicious about the N64 car.
Well, not the car in itself, as I have no real interest in cars. But the last time Elon Musk did something to explode the internet, it just happened to coincide with him doing bad shit that got completely drowned out (sending a car into space vs fucking over his employees). And I don’t think the SpaceX-test failing spectacularly was quite bad enough for a PR stunt like this.

Characters with shitty Supers (Vega,Sim, ?), would benefit. There doesn’t even have to be new Super animations. Capcom can just buff up special moves with a screen freeze or some canned animation spliced from normals and specials. It can also be a damage tradeoff for characters that don’t get Oki from their original Supers. New Supers could give Oki, but less damage or be good AA’s or fireball punishes.

What if instead of selectable CA were getting another CA that can be used in game without the need to choose at the start of the select screen just like the previous games before SF3?

Dunno if it’ll be that bad, but I don’t think anyone looked at Xrd and said “You know what this game needs? More Fafnir”. Aside from paste eating Sol players ofc
The fact that the neutral seems to be focused on converting to optimized damage rather than knockdown -> pressure worries me more tbh. That dynamic is a big part of what I like about Xrd.

The very first match I played against a random in xrd was a Sol spamming Fafnir at me…(obviously because I was new and had no idea how to deal with it).
