Funny enough, those vids make me warm up to Strive.

Doesn’t look too too bad. The Potemkin Buster damage after an unblockable is hilarious.

In my case it only reinforces what i already knew.
A gg for non gg players where low effort day one shit already does optimal damage.

Plus they fucked up the pace of the game with cinematic grabs/throws, massive counter freeze screens, and the overall slower transitions between neutral and upclose phases.

Hard pass.

Also it is me or thete are 4 rc now?
Blue which dunno wtf is its conditions.
Yellow, red and purple.

And all of them cost 50% tension now.

My brother complained that Sol did so much damage for such low level intellect combos.

And now he saw the disgusting amounts of pain sols deal for a 5 hit combo, and not a counter one.

Axl’s throw not having its regular bounce makes it look hella dumb.

Also agreed on the the loud visual effects. Its really off putting whenever the counterhit zoom happens.

For the stupid amount of damage they do, i bet that blockstring into rc into command grab will be a thing to be worried about, lol.

Idk, i kinda like what i see.

But then again i am not a GG player so maybe that’s why.

From my limited knowledge about the franchise the only thing i can say about Strive compared to the other titles is that it feels much slower and way less crazy.

I am trying to learn XRD for the past weeks and the stuff that’s happening on screen seems way more crazy then what i see in these trailers.

I will try Strive if its on PC.
