Go team “Capcom does nothing”.
Shame on all of you that followed false prophet @Vhozite and his “Capcom will fix the patch” nonsense.

I can’t help being charismatic
Has Capcom acknowledged the fix in any way?
Wasn’t that what that “I fully understand the situation” tweet from Ono was about?
I bet they do eventually kill the patch. There was just no way it was going to happen so fast.

Tournament mode dropping huh?
Wouldn’t it be such a coincidence that they made a fix and added the wifi filter they used on tournament mode for ranked and then said: “Well, we already were working on the netcode for tournament mode, y’know…”
Rejoice console plebs, you’ll eat the breadcrumbs falling from the feast of the master race.
Probably Ono saying they are gonna kill the update because PS4 users are whining, but could also be because they are finally going to fix the netcode at some point.
It would be really bad PR for them going into their next fighting game soon if they do nothing officially after one guy fixed their netcode.
I can’t see how they will kill it. They didn’t even care that dudes where rage quitting and points boosting for 6 months and that was at the peak of the game.
Plus dudes where rocking pirated betas for months pre launch.

Damn, that sucks. Rush is my favourite rock band. All three of them are/were some of the best players on their instruments. Their songs were technical, immaculately performed, but filled with heart and soul (a rare combination IMO).
I was always hoping they’d do at least one more album and just skip the tour, but I didn’t know Peart was dealing with this.
Truly sad I’m never going to hear any new beautiful lyrics/songs from him, or any new epic drumming. He’s in a better place now, with loved ones and free of pain. Will have to listen their discography over the next few days. Honestly holding back watery eyes as I type this.
Hope you found the heart of Cygnus. Rest In Peace Neil. Thanks for everything.

Forcing Ono into a spot where he has no choice but to address the problem to higher ups and the team is enough of a win in itself. If they ban this(unlikely they create a ban that can’t be worked around) community probably won’t stop talking about it.
Netcode fix gonna be constantly asked for now so many prominent community members have seen how good netplay can be with one, unofficial, buggy patch fix.

But can be relevant to the current issue
Im always been a fan of Guru Larry unlike some Youtubers that echoed the same thing over and over and pretends to be there and do critical FGC history talks lol. His not like other that is trying so hard on discussing fighting games history just on a meh level and cringe way that they came out with conspiracy instead of what really happened.
In our place in asia back in the day, You wouldnt find any SF2 Cab that isn’t hacked that even popular arcades had the hacked version. I grew up also near a grocer, and almost every grocer back in the day is partnered by an arcade center or had it’s own cab. My HF experience is on SNES and SEGA Genesis.
I hope this issue regarding Capcom in SFV, that they would fully adopt roll back netcode in future and in SFV.
They probably now doing reverse engineering the mod code, I hope they can do better rather than just blocking it or putting it officially.
Played Akhos last night.
Borderline unplayable. Lots of desync, any attack he did with less than 5f start up effectively had 0f start up, couldn’t know whether an attack hit or was blocked till 5f after it connected.
1/4th of the matches were… okayish. The rest were and impossible, Ed teleporting mess on my end.
Rest in Peace to the legend. I was lucky to see him play not far from my hometown growing up. Biggest inspiration to me to start playing drums and try to understand how songwriting works. This death feels personal to me.

What the hell are Dark Souls Players made out of?
So I was hearing the review of a Dark Souls Player/Challenge Runner/ Hardcore Player on Code Vein and he said that it took him 5 Hours to beat Cannonere and Blade Bearer solo.
The same duo I beat solo in 30 minutes.
Took him 2 hours on Mido, were I needed like 45 minutes.
Running back to bosses was apparently to hard, when in the review he just tried to run trough them and not clear the mobs that mostly stand there for perfect 1v1.
Not that that happens often, since most bosses have a mistel right in front of them.
And apparently Queens Knight was hard. The same Boss I beat first try.
I either missremember things or Dark Souls was actually piss easy compared to Nioh and Code Vein.

Souls games do get considerably easier once you know what enemies to expect alongside the boss path and once you learn the boss patterns in each phase. There’s obviously going to be some RNG involved as to when certain attacks trigger but other than that - you mostly die due to the amount of damage taken or porrly timed rolls

Ended up buying the BOTW DLC and while I feel like it’s a little BS to have some things behind a paywall (such as the Master Sword upgrades), just getting the Korok Mask alone made running around looking for shrines and Koroks a lot more enjoyable. I should have honestly bought it at the start. It’s a bit pricey, but with all the work that went into this game, I think it’s worth it. Still haven’t went to any Divine Beasts yet, but this is becoming one of my favourite Zelda games.
I also got Mario Kart 8D yesterday and it’s fun as shit.
The Switch is a hell of a system.
