I want to bitch for a sec, but I swear G has the worst animations in the whole game. I went to punish a whiffed Vskill, and you jabbed me to win the match. On the screen freeze, the entire gold orb was still on screen… like what the fuck.

Yeah his recovery on vskill is sneaky. If G absorbs a fireball he has more frame advantage. It also has a giant hitbox so it tags whiff normals somtimes.

It’s not just that, that was just a hugely obvious one (also, can anyone honestly tell when a wiffed rush punch’s active frames end by looking at the animation. If you say yes you are lying)

G is far from the only character like that, but he has the most examples.

Gill seems really linear.

I was getting hit by all kinds of nonsense because I have never really played against him before.

So, I ended up buying a Switch for these holidays. I bought Mario Odyssey and I’m planning on buying Bayonetta 1 and 2 (3 can’t come soon enough). Is there any other game that you could suggest for the console?

I don’t think I’m really interested in Breath of the Wild, I’m sure the game is great but dispersive open worlds like that always bored me.

Naturally Smash Ultimate is a no-brainer since it’s the best fighting game of 2019, if not the decade, so that’s a clear choice too. :upside_down_face:

I think you gotta give Breath of the Wild at least a chance. I’d say it’s a must buy.

Other than that if you like RPG’s I’d say Xenoblade Chronicles and Fire Emblem (more of a strategy game).
