Hey guys,

Thanks for Shadowbrooke for hosting, you guys are really legit for supporting the fighting game community in NorCal.

I talked to a couple guys yesterday about casuals here in NorCal, and I understand the Catalina Wine Mixer hosted by Scunsion is taking a break until next year, but does ANYONE else host casuals here? I have scoured this message board and I havenā€™t found shit except for Sixā€™s (spelling?) casuals in San Lorenzo and KeyStone II tourneys that are invite only. Iā€™m down to go to SVGL and MGL sometime but Iā€™m wondering if there are any casuals AT ALL here in Norcal besides the ones I just mentioned.

Again, thanks Shadowbrooke for being so goddamned hospitable to the community. Hope to see some of you again sometime.

lilsicx66 hosts casuals in Sacramento every now and then, and there are casuals in Davis hosted by thxyoutoo. You might want to get in touch with them.

Mm, no other ā€œregularā€ ones that I know of. Tyram has sessions every now and then near Sac State, so you might want to ask him about that. Thereā€™s also a gaming club at Sac State, and they meet every now and then and play. Between the ones you and I mentioned, I donā€™t know of any other regular casual sessions.

Not sure how long of a drive it is but we have casuals every Wednesday night at Starbase Arcade in San Rafael. Just got a full sanwa setup and lag free Asus screen. Last week 11 people showed up. Info is here http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=191127

Ahem it is SIKā€™s ^^ and yea right now for this month im not holding any casuals till at least next month but i will be doing them as invite only cuz lol alot of people were wanting to come n it gets a lil packed in the back room/sun room with 12 folkz lol so if ur interested in coming to the casuals next month send me a pm letting me know n ill see wats up!:wgrin:

Siks, hoodman, and Romeo thanks for all your replies. Sadly Iā€™ll be gone by the new years and wonā€™t be able to make these casuals. I will be back someday though and Iā€™ll let you know when I decide to check it out.
