I performed a mod for a friends stick who is a right handed stick user. The mod in question was just a matter of reversing directions. I did NOT alter the ground wire whatsoever. It worked fine until today, the direction for up is activated by a button press and will not deactivate, I’ve checked the wires and pcb for possible crosses but there is none visible to the eye. Any idea what could be happening? The stick is a SSFIV SE xbox 360. And yes even without the wire connecting the joystick to the pcb up is still activated.
Edit: The stick was working fine an hour ago, nothing was done to it. Then upon trying it this happened.
i have a problem with my se fightstick not detecting up/jump… i didnt think anything of it and just ordered sanwa parts (buttons and stick) but i still have the problem? i can press forward, down and back but up wont register? if anyone knows what it could be will you please contact me any help will be nice, thankyouu
Does the TvC stick have this issue?!? I’m assuming no since it’s a different joystick & the TvC stick was released 1-year after this issue developed but it’d be nice to have confirmation, thx!
My friend needs his TvC stick modded to a 360… would getting a 360 pad be the easiest/cheapest solution?
I’ve seen them selling in the trading outlet from as low as 13$ to 60$…
oh and both my friends ps3 se’s stick stopped working for pc after hooking them up to a windows 7 PC
I am 199% positive it isn’t a user error in this case. I have absolutely no problem doing a hadouken or shoryuken whenever I want to. There were times where I’d try to throw a hadouken 5-10 times and a shoryuken would come out instead EVERY time. Also, occasionally if I held the stick in a down/back position my character would walk back instead instead of ducking. I know there’s something wrong, but it’s not all the time. My stick has worked good lately, but the issue pops up sometimes.
Whenever the stick starts acting up on me, I typically lift the handle up a bit and then rest it back in its original position. It works fine for a while after that, but I’d hate for something like this to happen in the middle of a tourney or something, so I’d rather just get it rectified completely.
I’m going to dual mod my stick, but I know Mad Catz won’t repair my stick if it’s been altered, so I need to fix my stick first.
