for anyone who wants to make Solid Snake Here’s my idea
- snake in Stealth camo costume (like in mgs 1,2, 4) can be made based on Guile
- Snake in Mgs 3 (no shirt like Rambo) can be made based on Ryu Alternate costume
i think Ryu Is More fit to be Snake Than Guile.
i was after that one too, but i can’t imagine a single keyword to help the search…
all I know is this came right at the beggining of the modding scene.
it looks easy to create a new one, but maybe it isn’t. i don’t remember seeing any other mods without that part of chun li’s costume.
I had the idea to do a Ryu snake with the sneaking suit using the ground work done with my Chris mod.

Okay, I went through the trouble of straining my eyes to read those Chinese sites.
Those .tpf files were made for the benchmark :wasted:
So don’t bother with them anymore OR wait a bit longer and see if they come up with a better way to do it.

The suggestion is a good one. For now, if you copy the tool to your SF4 root dir, next to SF4Launcher.exe, you don’t need to define the dir all the time, but I will add that feature in an .ini file, that and the ability to save the keys defined to swap costumes on-the-fly;)
As for the bug, can you describe it to me, step by step, so I can reproduce it and fix it?
unless you’ve gzipped it back again to occupy less space;) My tool does this.
