Could I get an explination. I have 3DS Max 2009 and downloaded 3D Ripper for this purpose, but I don’t have a fantastic idea of what to do, could you explain the process?
i don’t think the 3D ripper software works with steam
or it just hates me… :sad:

Wait, I forgot I pirated it before buying it, so technically I have a non-steam version. Ha ha, I win.
really nice but i have some (hopefully helpful) critique for seth venom:
1 - you should make the second inside/under colour flesh coloured so it looks like his alien suit is coming off of him
2 - the head looks too similar to spiderman, try and make the eyes look like this:
also is there no way to indicate venoms mouth?
so can you confirm that steam is causing the problems?
I don’t know if it is steam, I have to re-install my pirated copy to see if it works. I will report back in a bit.

That’s how I had originally drawn them when I first started, but the contours of his face make it come out badly unless you position them right over his actual eyes. If you make them too large or move them around too much, it just looks like crappy facepaint…
Added. However, Seth doesn’t open his mouth often :lame:. Also, I added a second insignia to his back to make it more accurate.

Apparently you have to use it with Max 5 - 8. I have not gotten it to work with Maya yet.

omg so many mods so little colors XD…
i still think there is room for improvement to really make that seth brilliant and not just great.
if you add some of the eye pattern shape to the top corners of the eyes and maybe add the chelsea smile-esk mouth parts along the cheeks.
alright. probably the real final version, i had reworked the pants to a much greater detail than i previously did to make it much better. It contains much more work done on it.
