Is there a way to add to a model just using the col file without having to include the cos file?

No.
The .col file only contains the textures while the .cos file contains normalmaps and the model.
This is an incredible mod :wow::wow::wow: I just registred now to tell you that is one of the greatest mod I’ve ever seen !!!
And yet no one made a Ryo Sakazaki skin and hairstyle for Dan.

So I have ran into a problem, I cannot Alphatest Chun Li earrings away using the usual method, Its subsection has no BrushA but neither did the her bracelets spikes and i was able to get rid of them with replacing something with Alphatest but it won’t work for her earrings. Anyone have any ideas?

iirc, they are their own group so it shouldnt affect anything if you do just get rid of them using the cos. seems like the easiest way
ive been kind of out of the game for like a month studying for my GRE’s, and now that im back its crazy to see some of the progress you guys are making. i have a bunch of wip stuff i plan to drop when i get around to finishing them…

for most of the metal stuff, you have to change metal item’s SpcEnv_W to SpcBumpBrush_UV1_W
and change the SpcCoeff to the first 39 characters of the alphablend, as covered in this post:

Note: This method didn’t work for me when I was trying to col-edit Dhalsim’s rings away, but it has worked for other people, so YMMV

I think you can reinstall the game (repair), it will replace every missing file but leave any mod file you installed
