not exactly try offziping the files first, if you get the error where you get multiple dats then its already unzipping you can just rename at that point.

if it has a alpha channel preserve it by saving with 1 bit alpha it its a dtx 1, some are dtx 5 so save those as dtx 5. you don’t have to use hue but i find it much easier and faster

I’m not 100% but… I bet you could make larger different looking vfx. Just do a test fill of the area on the alpha, see where (and how much area) the alpha shows in game. Then you can make any number of different styles of custom fireball, slashes, etc…

yeah you can, that is what i did for my agent smith skin pack, i change the effects into matrix text by editing the alpha channels. also if you neglect the alpha you can these huge blocks of color.

use woody’s texture viewer http://developer.download.nvidia.com/tools/wtv/WTV_0_86b.zip drag a texture file in this thing before you save it and it will show you the format, keep it open using the mouse wheel to change the file to preview while you are saving. also if you look at the channels while you are saving and it has alpha its DTX 5 if it doesn’t DTX1 and you can give DTX 1 a alpha by pressing button on the channel tab and having what you want to hide selected. I guess i should I make video tutorial on it.

maybe you infused a file you were not supposed too (this happened to me once) , try infusing into a fresh unzipped dat.

I haven’t been much into this thread because I don’t have the PC version of SFIV. But while playing Arkham Asylum the other night I asked myself; Has anyone created a bane skin for Zangief? And if not why not?

So if it hasn’t been done, one of you guys should get on that, seeing as the russians crazy build is perfect for the masked steriod junkie, and his ultra always reminds me of when Bane broke Batman’s back in Knightfall.

Something about Charlie’s moves I would like to ask:

I just noticed that Guile’s second flash kick from his ultra is actually Charlie’s somersault kick style:

If it is possible to manipulate the moves, it would be perfect to have guile doing all flash kick with the 2nd flash kick from the ultra animation
