@Tundra: If it crashes or gives the error"too many channels" you’re doing something wrong. Remember not to use any “physical” transparencies(leave blank area that shows the blocks) You have to flatten everything and instead use the “alpha” channel. The object is already set to allow semi and full transparency. Just be sure to do your work ahead of time.

I’m not getting too many channels. The error doesn’t really say what is wrong, it says an unhandled error occurred(-3). I load using default into PS, I had copied the work I did on another hud onto the one I just opened, and I copied the alpha channel as well. Then I save in argb 32 and it still doesn’t work. And yes I flattened the copied image. I have no idea what is wrong and my power went out so I lost all 100 tabs I had opened and unsaved in PS…

Truth is, when it comes to modding there’s always more stuff for females than males. Even if the female is a side/minor character she will get more mod treatment than the male will, even if he’s a main character. That’s just the way the cookie crumbles.

Hmm odd, I tried the vega skin using the mod manager and it made the game crash when it goes to the versus screen It’s the only mod that has done this so far as well. Did you do anything specific?

Edit 1: Hmmm nevermind… seems like something is up with Vega and he’s crashing even with the normal files. Re-install.

Edit 2: Seems that even after a re-install, applying the outfit to Vega makes the game crash to desktop. No error message or anything.

Edit 3: Applied another outfit to Vega and it worked fine, applying the tactical suit makes the game crash and I have to re-install the vega files.

Using the CMM and applying it to the .cos file in the folder for these three skins made my game crash, too. Try applying it to the original costume and it’ll work fine. I like the red one best because it matches Vega’s red effects.

Hmmm that didn’t work either, still crashed even with different colors. Oh well, guess I will have to live without it for now. The shinobi one will be more than enough as a placeholder.

Not really. I simply followed the instructions on the first post of this thread. Told me to backup my original skin files and then simply copy-paste the new skin into the Vega character folder (BLR) and replace the existing ones. I ran the game and did a CPU vs. CPU test to see the different colour schemes of the new skin and they all worked fine.

Just to be safe, I also copy-pasted the original skin files back into the Vega folder and that worked as well.
