SF4 PC: The Custom Skin Mega-thread!

-New host for Akuma Flames/Evil Ryu is up. Gamersky was giving people problems.
-Two new additions: Renegade Sagat and Decapre Cammy (nice job guys!).

Ok folks. For those who are wondering how to remove textures 100% from characters:

1.)Hex editing is the only way. I’m currently using Hex Workshop(the link was provided in my tutorial)
2.)While in Hex editor(my name for it) open the DAT file you unpacked from the characters COS.
3.)Next you’re going to want to open the Finder
4.)Set the search to text string and enter emg, pess ok. Details
5.)Now you will see in the bottom right hand corner, the search results. Search results
6.)Clicking through the list looking for the name of the object you want to remove. Example
7.You’re going to want to look for a 1 bit instance close to the start near EMG and change it to 00. See?

It’s not always so clear and cut. Sometimes there are two instances of 01 01 side by side. Only trial and error can get the result you want. I’m still figuring exactly what does what but. It seems other instances of 01 in the emg entry remove pieces of the mesh but leave some intact. Give me more time to pile things together.

Seems LouNGeR may be working on a batch tool. I donno if it will go public though.

It is a reskin of the alternate costume.

For those who don’t know Decapre, She is one of the Bison’s Dolls(Juni and Juli from SFZ3 are the two most well known of the 13 Bison’s Dolls).
Decapre is like a Twin Sister of cammy, but her face is totally Scarred. Then Decapre have a mask like Vega, and She also have Claws, like Vega too(as you can see in the Pics).

Becareful. I think it’s possible to remove certain items without removing all of it but… It’s not for sure with the late entry characters like Fei long or Rose. Anyone with a single Texture.

Not trying to nitpick but maybe you could try remove the tops of her boots to make them more similar to the real costume? Nonetheless it is a pro looking job.

I wish. Part of the main file I reckon. also don’t want to go anywhere near the DLC costumes yet in fear of being banned. Otherwise I would have done the skin on her alt.
