Hi, I’m new here but I’ve an important question about piecemontee’s SF4 Assets Explorer: now I can see all the texture but after export process, what’s the new file extension and how can i open it?I’ve also looked at the tutorial in wiki but i can’t understand…HELP!

If the files starts with an 02 then that means it’s for the alternate costume so you can only change it for one of the 02 colors. So 02_01 can be change to 02_02 up to 10 but you cant change it to an 01_02 or you will get the black shadow. And if there are two files it may be because the alternate costumes weren’t release yet so you they gave you a file to overwrite the existing first costume.

gotta question… how to make the alternate costumes ( the 02_01 costumes) work ? because only those which start with 01 work, and I can’t find any info on those 02… pls help…

By purchasing the costume pack, like hunterk said.

02.col.emz means it’s a color for the second costume. You will need to get the second costume before you can use colors for it.

You still need to purchase the rights to use the second costume to use any skins modified for the second costume. if you get the alt costume you choose the alt color 03 and that ken costume will then show up.

If I’m not wrong, to make it work you need that :

• Player 1 choose the costume number X for the character Y
• Player 2 choose the costume number X for the character Y

Ex : Player 1 as Ken costume 3, the player 2 must choose Ken costume number 3 to make the file KEN_02_03.col.emz work

What is it doing? I’ve had a couple problems using it already so I might be able to help.

I don’t remember what I did, but one time the directory in the left pane was so far to the left that it looked like there was nothing in it so I couldn’t select anything. I don’t know if this is your problem, but I had to restart the program to fix it since I couldn’t scroll.

If you’re able to load a file, but it’s giving you nothing/junk, resizing/maximizing the window fixes the display in the right pane.

And then some files just might not open right the first time. For example, I wasn’t able to see anything in Sagat’s original costume file. I would click things and see nothing. I made sure to check if the alternate one worked - and it did - so I went back to the original file and it loaded fine.

This probably isn’t helpful since I’m assuming you already tried some stuff… Have you tried updating your drivers?
