Don’t jump the FB so that they can hit you. If you’re at the range where if you jump it they will DP you, don’t jump towards. Try jumping straight up over the FB.
Besides that don’t put yourself in a position to be trapped. (i know, easier said). Keep kicking him in the face, and a FB won’t be able to come out. If you stay on top of him with your ticks and kicks he won’t get a chance to FB trap you.
There’s the headstomp, but you might end up hitting the FB anyhow up close, and if you DO connect with it… I would suggest flying away afterward to safety. Or at least try to go to the other side afterwards so it’s harder to DP you.

marvel scrub : you definitly want to go with Guile or dhalsim.
If you play Bison : remember you can combo off your sisscor kick, with a c.strong and then s.foward kick(If deep enough). If blocked you can repeat it if your opponent doesn’t know how to reversal it(old sisscor kick trap).
Bison jumps far, high, and lasts in the air for a long time. The standard “jump straight up over the fireball” doesn’t work well for him. (There’s a good thread on jumping straight up, but I can’t seem to find it). Anyway, most characters can jump straight up, land, then gain on Ryu/Ken on the ground. But since Bison spends a long time on the air he can’t gain ground after landing as much as the other characters. I suggest blocking the fireball then inching forward – Bison has good ground speed and excellent pokes in CE, so you can get in quick.

Why are you entering a tourny when you havent played in 10 yrs. and only have 2 weeks to practice?Lets just hope you were a god at SF2 10 yrs. ago and you will be able to just pick it up agian.Personaly I would go with Guile, Ryu, or Sim just because they are who I play the most.If your good with Bison or Rog play them.I suck with Rog and used to think he was the worst person in the game till I saw someone beating peoples asses in a tourny long ago.Just pick whoever your best with and practice everyday till the tourney and dont be too bummed if you dont win.Most likely the other players competing arent just getting back from a 10 yr. break from there favorite game.
