just a pessimistic guess.
Your guess actually sounds optimistic to me.
it will appear shortly after Skullgrils PC launch, to take away consumers.
Played my first match, and boy it’s laggy yet manageable. I didn’t proceed with another match as I became excited recording my first ever online match.
I find the online lag really varies, and get a lot of decent connections on the east coast USA(closer to me) so I always add to friends list if they have a nice solid connection.
Patch will be out tonight/tomorrow
Too little, too late, Cashcom.
Better to have it a lil late than not have it at all. At least it managed to have gotten approved this week.
Nice! Saturday release sweeeettt
They said Steam will be tomorrow as well if you go and read the story here:

Also good to know we will never see that rolento glitch, 1.5 is next, good news!
Phew, I was about to rage. Thx for the update… :3
PC Update Patch is out, i just installed it, its now version 1.02.
Patch is out. Great!
I noticed that you can now preview new colors but you can’t purchase them yet. Does anyone know from console what these are going to cost us?
and how is the online play now, any first experiences?
There’s less teleporting for sure. I can’t say for sure whether the sound is back to normal because I’d gotten so accustomed to the glitch that I can’t tell the difference anymore. I still had some laggy matches where I just wanted to get it over with though. I wonder if it’s possible that I’m pitted against Steam players that don’t have the patch yet, or maybe that’s wishful thinking. Either way I’m waiting way less long for ranked matches and there are even 2 endless lobbies up, and the patch has only just come out. If you can’t get quality you might as well go for quantity.
The colors should be free wait till you see the new assist gem shenanigans lol
I played a few matches this morning. They fixed the sound and the teleporting has stopped. Seems like there is an army of russians on the PC version. The console is mostly americans lol.
.
from the few fights ive done yet i dont see any improvement on the teleportation bug. as soon as the fight gets out of sync the first time, the teleportation bug come back again like it used to be. looks like the only new thing may be the sound bug fix and the new shop for downloading content (but the shop is still empty here in germany, you can go into the shop, but there is nothing) and something about gems might be improved.
It’s about time!
Been playing the patch all morning, here are my impressions.
First off it’s worth mentioning that I’m a game dev, and I’m playing on our unrestricted gaming PCs on the offices extremely fast connection. These PCs were setup purely to provide a super smooth online play through the various games we play together and test out.
So with that said,
I’ve had a pretty bad experience playing from the UK with other people around Europe. I’ve only played games with people on rank A computers with full white bars.
For those of you experiencing only smooth games, it’s very likely this is because it’s often your opponent experiencing the lag.
I’ve confirmed that the extreme rollbacks are “one sided” with a bunch of players this morning, who I played matches against that contained a lot of teleporting. They told me they had a completely smooth experience on their end. On top of that, they mentioned that they’d received lots of messages that morning asking the same. It appears that the netcode favours some people over others for some reason. A couple of the players with smooth games told me that there are certain players they play against in which the experience is reversed - meaning that their opponent has a completely smooth game whilst they teleport all over the place.
After some testing I found a way to ensure that you’re the player with the smooth experience, but in every single game I played, my opponent reported that they had a terrible teleporting experience. Our machines here are capable of simulating network lag, doing so (up to a point) actually provides me with a smooth experience, not a bad one. Whilst the opponent sees me teleporting all over the place.
Either way, the problem is still very much alive and if all we have coming to us now are additional console patches (that don’t alter the netcode at all), I’m sadly ready to say that the online portion of this game is pretty much unplayable.
The sound is fixed, and on the rare occasion that you find a completely lag free experience, it’s very good (better than prepatch), but finding that experience is far too rare.
Are you playing through steam? Steam doesnt seem to be patched yet.
