The dev work is complete. We’re in the paperwork phase and Derek is nearly done with his part. Marketing needs to finalize the metadata entry for their parts. There’s literally 100 pices of DLC that the paperwork needs to be done for MS and Valve seperately. That’s where it’s at.
I don’t have an ETA from Derek unfortunately on this. That’s all the info I have at the moment. As more becomes available (like a date) it will be on Capcom-Unity.
It’s nice to hear that they are in fact making progress on it. I’m okay with waiting as long as we hear something.
Though, now that I think about it…perhaps the problem is because of the fact that they removed all of the DLC (characters included) from the PC disc? I mean, it’s perfectly understandable why (it’d be even easier to hack them out on the PC version), but the delays seem to be tied in with all that removed DLC.
I just hope that the main reason of all the delay is the reimplementation of the netcode.
without fixing that part of the game all the dlc and gameplay changes are useless.
I have seen nothing to indicate they’re even working on the netcode. I expect this to be a copy of the console update with the same version number. From this point on I expect them to pretend everything is fine with the netcode and never touch it again. It’s a coping mechanism to deal with the inevitable disappointment that great expectations would bring me, I guess.
Meanwhile I still can’t even get my TE round 1 PS3 stick to work in bootcamp so I’ll be playing the game with a pad.
better to buy games other companies, such as 2K or Bioware, which releases a patch or add-ons all right. And they do not degrade the graphics part of the game to get more cash profits.I love SF, but this attitude of Capcom causes no desire to use their products.
No matter what type of games they release, it is important how well they do it…capcom produces not only fighting games…situation with their other games similar…
While quality of service and product are certainly important, they don’t mean anything to the consumer in the end if said consumer has no interest in what the company is offering. More fighting games on pc plz T.T
at the present time interest in the product created by advertising,if not caught the mood of buyers and the product is sold out badly. This is a delicate process, and Capcom in this poorly developed.
p.s. product is a product, if you buy and it is not working properly, you take it back to the seller and change to another product or refund your money.
possible official announcements about patches just a marketing ploy for the possible impact of the increase in sales game and no patches were planned…would be a pity if this proves true.
Capcom is the girlfriend that’s annoyed with you.
And right now she is giving you the "Silent treatment"
Apparently sales on PC are not important enough to get anything but the “silent treatment”
RE6 PC is getting the same silent treatment but is also giving the “I won’t put out, we’ve only been dating 2 months treatment”
Gotta say I feel a little sorry for the MML fans that got dumped all together though.
Don’t they use the PC in their daily lives? Being at the 21st century they should be damn aware that PCs are as pivotal in the gaming industry as the consoles.
It’s not just that unfortunately. Plus I kinda’ want to use my main. :-p
I’ll still pop on for the Sunday thing and if invited, but other than that I’m just waiting for… something. I can’t even use Alisa when I play on PC right now
