does this mean we have to wait another 2 weeks ?
derek already did tell on sept 05 that they had given the update to microsoft for approval.
now he says the same again.
Well, at least it’s something. I’d prefer this to waiting for those 2 weeks and then 2 days before it comes out it’s announced. That’s just me though.
I’m hoping that this patch also helps out the netcode somewhat…but considering 1.02 was supposed to do that, I kind of doubt it. It’s been working well for me recently, but I know that the netcode really isn’t that great for a lot of the other players out there. 
well the pc port team had a lot of time so let’s hope that they did something about the netcode.
on the other hand there is still no official statement or comment from capcom about the netcode situation of the pc version.
so yeah, like lordwilliams said, it’s unlikely.
At the very least it’ll finally be “caught up”, so-to-speak. That’ll be nice. 
Just… neeed to hurry it along.
I’m seriously thinking of throwing this game away if the next patch doesn’t fixed the online lag and teleports.
I can’t hate on that, it can be pretty frustrating. Hopefully it does, I’d like to see the PC version do better.

Nothing yet. Last I heard of it too, supposedly awaiting MS’s approval.
What the hell? I’m inviting a player who is just a city away from me and his bar is completely blank. :o

It’s really weird, I onced played a guy from India(?) and he had 3-4 bars full most of the time, but he’s the laggiest player I ever met, even worse than the Europeans I played who had 0 bars.
I suppose you’re referring to DhirajAhuja as he’s the only India player that I know.
I’m starting to get teleports and lags from players eventhough they have 2 or more bars. Maybe it has something to do with the difference between our PC’s specs, not so sure. o_O
I sure hope so. All of the characters I really wanted in the game are among the 12 DLC characters. :shake:
still no update nor DLC patch. frustrating. nothing else left to say.
ms probably denied the authentification because the new patch still didn’t fixed the netcode.

Even if your opponent doesn’t appear to be teleporting, there is a very good chance that you are, from their perspective. It can be really obvious if they just start backing away and sitting in the corner for no apparent reason.
I gave up after the second week of release when I realized that half of my wins were probably thanks to lag. Surprising it still isn’t fixed, or that anyone even plays.
no update ! no dlc ! no patch ! no update news ! just nothing for the pc sfxt ! now is 2012-10-15 ! 2.5 months have passed since console dlc/patch release, and there is still nothing. sad but true.
