First, it’s against the rules, do a +faq in dc++ and I believe it’s also found on mj’s geocities page.
Second, I suspect this rule is in place because even though you’re “sharing” those files, you’re really not because nobody can really get norton and neoragex from you since they’re all spread out and dispersed. Programs ought to be shared in image and zipped forms if not already an executable.
I’m really surprised how many people either don’t know or ignore the rules. How hard is it to unshare a folder? Geez.

Hmm, I agree that the hub rules aren’t too difficult to adhere to, but at the same time to nitpick to such a degree is also not the answer. I mean, you want to have a community, and by kicking people out for small reasons, you are eliminating the concept of mass sharing. We want to promote the hub, and hopefully get more and more people in there, not the opposite.
Anyway, on a side note, the hub seems to be down today.

Kick people if tyhey have porno videos (people having sex in realtime) asnd if its an excessive amount. 1 file? no worries let them slide but like 5-10vids+ then kick them
the installed rules is for peeps that share like:
c://Windows folder
c://Program files
now of course there are exceptions to like WinKawaks folder b/c some peeps share saves from games and some share replays
For some reason I cannot connect to the HUB it just auto disconnects me, and there is no reason message… Is the hub still down or something? I used to be on all the time on a different cpu i’ve never had this problem.
I’ve also been getting this message for the past two days. Im able to connect to other hubs but not at goforbroke. Does this mean that I got banned from the hub or could it be something else. Any help?
