Yo Funk. I’ve been gone for a while now. Been in MO to pick up the family and got stranded in Louisville, KY when our car hydroplained and lost control, hit a guard rail and damaged the left rear side. The estimate is more than the car itself and that was only for the body damage!! The transmission is fucked up too, think because of the way they towed it, from the rear when my car is a front wheel drive, go figure. Anyway… whenever I get home… I’ll be back up and running and sharing and have the camcorder back so I’ll capture more finals and shit from the earlier Charlotte tourneys that was never put up or seen. Peace, holla.
P.S. No one got hurt… cept our pocket books

somebody please help me… im in direct connect and am at goforbroke hub but i cant download anything…
how am i supposed to download things?
there is a ton of users in the window but i cant download anything from them… i double click on a user and it puts them on the queue but i cant get anything from them… someone please explain in depth if you will how i get vids from them… the help at the top doesnt help at all!!
also the search at the top doesnt get anything… what am i doing wrong??

right… i tried that and i got it to work for one person so that i could download stuff… but on everyone else when i double clicked on their name it puts them in the queue window but it wont let me get their files even though they are active. it says:
File Destination Remote Path Size
"name"… C:\PROGRAM FILES\DIREC… “name”.DcLst ?
and it wont let me download their doclist… it only worked for one person… also how do you know whether you have a router or not… i dont think i do but i just want to be sure
a router is a box next to your comp that shares the connection with other comps you have. Did you try passive mode? It only connects to people that are on active not on passive. If you want to try active mode then you have to put your ip in the advance box in preferences > connection > advance. Get your ip here: http://www.showmyip.com/ . If you get a ‘No slots’ message then that means the persons slots are full at the moment. Try again later.
yeah its workin in passive mode now for some people, but others even though they are in active mode and still have free slots- it doesnt work… and why cant i connect today? its down?
active is the better choice. and the hub is fine…
