people would whine, trust me, specially if they leave the gameplay like cvs2, the snk fans (including myself) feel that gameplaywise the chars of snk are poorly translated to the capcom universe, even when i do like a lot cvs2, i would preffer to see a new attempt with new ideas of course maintaining what they do right in the first time

A SvC2 also sounds awesome if SNK puts as much and more effort as KOF XII, but again, either way Capcom and SNK, i will repeat, we as 2D fighter fans WANT ANOTHER CAPCOM VS SNK GAME

if someone does an update id like the following:

update all alpha 3 sprites with new cvs2 sprites (even those that dont look too bad like guile, sakura).

remove RC and generally balance the game out a bit more
nerf A-groove damage wise big time, but let it activate at 50%
add red parry and ex moves to P-groove, and let it build slightly faster
Make S-groove more viable somehow
put background roll on N-groove only

Use the presentation, sound effects, “fireball effects” and stages from CVS1
If possible a stage for every character with thousands of cameos in the back.

I ask only 3 things of a potential CvS3:

  1. That it be well-made and generally well-balanced a la SF4/CvS2.

  2. That it have an SF4-Groove, because Focus Attacks and FADC are the shit.

  3. That Ralf and/or Clark be playable and not shit tier.

Thinking about it, they also need to put Andy Bogard in, having Terry and Joe in there but not Andy felt pretty weird.

If I may take my wishlist for characters a little further… I would like Shinnosuke Kagami (Last Blade) and May Lee to be put into the game. Yea, they’re not as popular as other characters, but I like them.Oh, and make Yamazaki play and look more like he does in KOF, he feels wrong compared to it. I think those are the only characters I’ll look forward to having in a potential CvS3 on SNK side that I can think of…

EDIT: Forgot I also would like Makoto from SF3, she’s cool too

i personally wouldnt mind seeing it run almost like battle collosseums system but thats me. as long as theres 3rd strike characters like yun (with a new genei jin), urien, yang, elena, ibuki, alex and twelve or even some alpha characters like rose or karin or guy id be happy. oh also lets not forget the new characters from iv.

Me personally I feel like it’s been done 5 times - SVC MOTM on the Neo Geo Pocket, CVS1, CVS1 PRO, CVS2 and SVC CHAOS. Then there’s three card games based on the two companies, Card Fighters Clash 1-3. If they don’t throw a third company in the mix or do something really crazy like that then I’m really not interested. If it comes out, I will buy it sure. But I certainly won’t demand it.

CVS2 is still the king of these games. However an arcade / non-chibi version of SVC MOTM would of kicked all kinds of ass.

At the very least if this gets made I hope they change the freaking match ups. If they bill Ryu vs. Kyo AGAIN and Chun-Li vs. Mai AGAIN I will throw up a little in my mouth.
