@bold: I hope you realize ive been using seth for ever since the game came out and I know all about the trap except im good at SF and I know how to counter it.
Jinrai, are you really associated with this guy? I have seen some vids of your in RL and your fights and tournament attitudes and from what ive seen you love to help the Seth community and SF in general.
But this guy just seems flat out mentality retarded. Being known with this low class type of fighters would make me ashamed.

Hell, I know the people around my area absolutely hate Seth too. Honestly, the first time I ever used Seth in a tournament (This was when I barely knew what a combo was), my opponent just edged out the Win and yelled “FUCK SETH!” and I didn’t even do anything that tight.

Alright, just got back from a Bragging Rights (Portland Tournament),
Placed 9th-12th after getting out of pools.
I had one match on our stream so I wanted to post it up to show the support that Seth is still being played up North. I dropped some stuff, could have done better, but here is the match I had vs. one of Portland’s best, FatBear.
Enjoy, or not, I had a blast. I had been on a drinking binge for the last three months (I typically have 4-5 Long Islands in me before I play), this was the first tournament I’ve been sober at.

Is his bnb harder to do? It seems you had difficulty getting it to connect consistently.
His new Ultra isn’t nearly as useful as his first one. I’ll use either one, but it’s tight being able to Ex SRK -> Ultra 2 anywhere on the screen if you don’t want to waste time for a FADC.
I feel his combos will need some tweaking, it appears they have changed some of the distancing properties of other characters from what we’ve tested, so I’m going to take some time tomorrow and go over it when I’m done with Hakan.
I think I’m going to main Hakan after tonight, Seth will always be in my heart, but god damn I am going to cover the NorthWest in my Oil.

Thanks Tony for posting that. At least I know now that they didn’t remove the cr.hp xx lp shoryu -> stomps combo, sans Hakaan’s dumb hitbox. Sagat has the same problem too. I think it has something to do with how quickly you cancel out of the cr.hp into the shoryu.
