Triple Checking - I saw that Marvel pools were starting at 6 PM Friday.
Will that also be the time that SC5 and P4 start as well?

Is VF5FS going to be played here or?..
If anyone wants to money match in Skullgirls let me know ;).
Sazabi, Tekken devotee, has volunteered to run VF5. I’m not sure if he posted it on VF.com yet tho but I’ll check
Yes SC5 and P4 will begin Friday at 6PM as well.
Will pools be available before the event? Like, a week or so ahead of time?
Hey if everyone would pre-reg we could make the brackets now But yes we plan to close registration the week of the event and we’ll have pools posted a few days before hand.
Thank you <3
After you form your teams, go here and sign up, send me a message here or on facebook to tell me who your members are and what characters you’ll be playing. http://challonge.com/tournaments/signup/thookperhv
Out of curiosity, how enjoyable is the experience if you’re just watching with everyone? I’m horrible at fightin’ games, but enjoy watching them on streams. Since this is on my way home from work I was thinking about attending, but wasn’t sure if it was worth it if I won’t be playing anything?
What the hype in the venue live is CRAZY. You will have a great time.
Yep if you enjoy watching the streams, the real thing is even better. Just like any kind of sporting event, the energy in the room just makes it better. And the spectator pass is just $20 at the door, got nothing to lose. The spectator pass gives you access to any of the BYOC activities going on so if you want to play in a side tournament or casuals you can always do that too.
Yeah, the energy in the room is insane. It’s like nothing else in the world.
Plus playing casuals is a great chance to expand your skills by playing against some of the best in the world and get advice on your game.
Big E knows
And yeah, remember that until 2009 there were no streams for fighting games – this scene has grown and drawn in millions of players around the world without a stream since 1991 Fighting-game tournaments in person have ALWAYS been an incredibly special, unique experience. And yeah SB prides itself on the crowd and energy we get from players from across the country and now the world getting together: watch our Cross Counter exhibition trailer
SF X TK isn’t even a side tourney ;_;
You’re right, it’s an OFFICIAL tournament as long as the interest is there. We will be taking registration onsite for SFxT and the tournament will be Sunday @ noon.
How close is the greyhound station to the hotel? If a ride doesn’t work out I’m gonna have to bus it down there.
Hey so a friend of mine wants to spectate but says she was having trouble registering to do so online. I tried to check the website but it won’t load for me.
Are all spectators just buying passes at the door? I saw that mentioned above but wanted to make sure before I made her drive up with us only to have her unable to hang out.
Accepting marvel mm’s.
zero, dante/vergil, sentinel.
Also, calling out Viscant. FT7 $50. The reason being is that if your still playing wesker hagger phoenix, I like to counterpick you with wesker sentinel phoenix.
Website seems to be loading OK for me, and we have gotten pre-regs today. http://godlike-entertainment.com/
Yeah, spectators can just buy a pass at the door. If anyone wants the Free Brokentier SBa shirt and SBa dogtag though you must pre-register and just not select any games. Basically you’re getting the Shirt and Dogtag for an extra $20, which is still pretty nice seeing as how tournaments usually sell product for $15-20, and these will not be sold – they are gifts to pre-registrants.
The venue is probably 12-15 min from the Greyhound.
