So if I want to play a game I pay $30 and then $10 per fighter I play,but if I used the $10 causal pass then I can’t enter any games but I can play hella casuals?
There’s been a change made to the stream coverage for Thursday’s Fighter x Shooter qualifier at Galloping Ghost Arcade. The stream will be provided by Good Games Live, twitch.tv/ggslive or www.ggslive.com.
Correct. The 10 dollar casual pass wont let you enter any tournaments (though you can play in auctions and team wars, and all side events). If you want to play MvC3, Mystery Game, SSF4, Mk9, or 3So, with the included bonus payout money, you have to buy the $30 venue pass.

We have been getting quite a few questions about the upcoming Fighter X Shooter event. This post should cover most of the questions we have been seeing come in. If you have any other questions about FxS, please feel free to CONTACT US.
**Day of signups **- Yes you can sign up the day of the event. The venue and tournament entrance cost will NOT increase day of. You may pay with cash OR a credit/debit card. Players/teams may not use discount codes at the event for sign ups (must pre-reg w/ code).
Cost - **$10 entrance fee per tournament game entry ($40 for shooter teams). $10** venue fee per sports player**. $30** venue fee per fighter player**. $60** venue fee per shooter team**. $10** spectator/casual pass.
Friday at FxS - Friday will be more of a casual day (no official tournament games start until Sat). On the fighter side we will be having the MK9, SSFIV & MVC3 auctions, as well as SSFIV Team War! On the shooter side, we will be running some FFA cash tournaments. Free play will also be going down all day!
Online Pre Registration - Has now been extended until **Thurs, Sept 1. **Click here to sign up!
When to show up - Please show up and check in or sign up at least 1 hr before your tournament game starts.
Where to check in/signup - When you walk in the front entrance of the Hotel, you will see the registration table, please check in there.
Spectators - All spectators will be charged a $10 fee and will be given a wristband for the weekend. Don’t worry, spectators will be put in a raffle to win a few cool prizes!
Media/Coaches - Please check in at the registration table and grab a badge. You will be given free admission.
Pre-Qualifier - There is still one pre-qualifying event for fighters Thursday at the Galloping Ghost Arcade.
**Payout Structure – The payout structure for all tournaments can be found HERE. **Each players tournament entrance fee ($10 per player entry) will go in to the pot. Bonus pots (which are separate from entrance fees) across all games is set at $2,000. Bonus pots will INCREASE if more players for that particular game show up. More info on the increasing bonus pots is explained in the main FxS post located HERE.
**Prizes – **We have SO MANY prizes to give away! All players that have paid the venue fee and have entered a minimum of 1 tournament will automatically be entered for a chance to win tons of cool prizes! Spectators will also be given tickets to win some prizes. There will be cash raffles taking place as well that you can buy tickets for at the registration table.

I got two questions?
1 - Is there going to be a stream for the tournament? If so, can you post the stream website.
2 - Are the brackets up? I would like to know where I would be in and how many people are in SF4AE as of now.
I can understand that it might be TBA.
Brackets won’t be available until day of since they opened pre-registration through tonight and door registration is the same cost. Plus I don’t think a bunch of the Chicago / Milwaukee / WI cats are pre-registering this year so I don’t think putting up a bracket that’ll be 99% inaccurate without the at-the-door sign-up kids’ll be worth-while.
Dumb not to pre-reg imo. Saves ya $10. Cya Saturday.
Brackets are never made available at my events until you are about to play, but POOL ASSIGNMENTS will be available on Friday by the time we open the doors at 2PM, which is still a day before tournaments start on Saturday.
