All of the characters in the game can move forward you’re gonna have to be a little more specific.
Rushdown characters that can cover a lot of space after the Drones call.
Also, how do you avoid the awful drops that happen in this character’s air combos?
There are two ways to call any assist safely.
- Put opponent in blockstun.
- Switch sides really fast after you call drones so that they aren’t facing Sent and can’t hit him.
Think about ways to do those things with Morrigan. During Astral Vision Soul Fist spam would be a pretty safe time to call Drones since the opponent will probably be blocking. The other clutch time to call Drones is after you’ve confirmed that an opponent is blocking an attack string. Wolverine, for example, can do :l: :l: :h:+:a1: :qcb:+:h: on block for a mixup, then do even more mixups while they’re stuck in drones.
Now, opinions: Drones is pretty fucking bad for using as cover to get in unless you’ve got a projectile or fast side switch move to protect it. Also, Drones sounds infinitely shittier than Missiles for Morrigan since Drones won’t hit people who try to superjump out of the Soul Fist spam.
I play a rushdown oriented Morrigan. She has her own cover fire in SF, fly, ADDF j.S. But Drones during all that would help a lot for her low damage. The duck boats are amazing for throwing in a few more chunks of damage.

I’d say the only reason why drones is a great alternative for missiles is cause the ease of access to three more spaced projectiles which will cause a chain of lockdown during astral. What’s bad about it is, now there’s no way to stop the snipe. God forbid you get a tagged dormammu in that will just eat his assist and him. As for doom, unless it’s a few specials that also do airial that are prioritized hit air support too, missiles will stop the full blown snipe.
I’ll manage. I’m not huge on AV really, much to other theorists’ chagrin.
What can I get after a Catapult L? Midscreen, not in corner.
The only reliable thing you can get is to IMMEDIATELY do: :qcb: :s: (flight), then you do a DP motion Rocket Punch :l:. What occurs when you do that is that Sentinel will swivel from his “freeze” after the command grab. The game won’t register your forward hold buffer but will register the DP motion :dp: and will cause you to move forward at a 45 degree angle headed towards the ground, and inputting the Rocket Punch :l: as a DP motion will move Sentinel closer and hit them with the tip of the Air Rocket Punch.
I explained this on the previous page for landing it after a Human Catapult :h: but I guess it works with the other versions, though the timing gets a tad bit tighter.
The above method is when using Sent solo. Calling an assist beforehand (like Iron Man Unibeam, Trish Peekaboo) will launch the enemy into the beam allowing you to combo.
Regular flight or TK Flight? Does it make a difference?
Neither one makes a difference, but TK flight makes it slightly easier (since your closer to them)

just to start and i also have some confirms with some assists like jam session, ryuenjin, hidden missiles, disruptor and more to come. i also try to use drones in these confirms a lot of time because you don’t really see a lot of teams where sentinel gets to take advantage of the meter build, but i’ll do my best with some of the teams i’ve seen.

I’ve been practicing the inescapable grab setups w/ sent tacs and pulling off 1m k my god lol. Once you’re of of the loop though sent she hulk sounds kinda sketchy lol
