Sentinel Fast Fly LK

I don’t know what’s up with the new design SRK is on, it’s just full of bugs, etc.

ive been doing somewhat unreliable inconsistent corner stuff like d.lk, st.mp (1 hit) ff lk, hk, refly lk+magneto assist, hk, land, superjump lk, ff lk lp.rocketpunch, lk, mk dp.rocketpunch

Why are you re-flying? I don’t think that’s even necessary unless you’re trying to be flashy.

i was just doing it as an exercise, i dont think it really even does that much more damage to make it worth trying unless its against another sentinel or juggernaut

Oh I see… exercise. Yeah I don’t think it does anymore damage either but just makes your chance of dropping the combo higher. The only way that I’d re-fly is if I’m doing corner stomp pressure+Magento/Cable assist.

I never could get re-fly down, I did it a couple of times in mid-air though. I don’t see the point in doing it unless you’re trying to show off.

What other stuff are you doing with Sentinel? As far as fast-fly on both sides. I suck on 2P side but I’m getting there.

I’ll try and upload a video of me doing some combos on YouTube later this week, if I have time. I’m still in the learning process of my new stick, I keep switching between restrictor gates in my JLF. I miss my HAPP competition stick.

Oh so when you do FF combos you do up back, when I do FF combos I do either up or up forward.

The bolded, red, underlined text, that combos with the Magneto assist? I usually do:

I know but I do it to be flashy or whatever.

I think my Magneto is 7-8/10 and my Cable is 6/10.

I wanna know how people are doing the Sentinel reset where he flies to the other side quickly, not in the corner, mid-screen. I’ve seen Sanford, Chunksta and Khaos do it.

my ROW is ass, my reverse ROW is getting better at keeping people out.

ROW is a hard team to get good with but IMO it’s way better than it gets credit for.

A godlike reverse ROW should shit on MSP. Mags assist stops so much more shit than I used to think. Fly low with sent and call Cable whenever Mags tries to rush in. spit fly unfly spit with mags assist, wait for him to get impatient and jump into a fast fly. If you cant keep out mags/psy with sent and two cheap assists, then youll get ate up and itll be frustrating. But when the team works well its great. Mags assist also sets up some nifty fly unfly shit if you like to get your happy feet on

Thrax and matrix give my ROW a hard time though, so I cant give too much info on that matchup. I think reverse ROW is better against every team except scrub.

cable mirrors are all about punishing mistakes. I like ROW because if you can play all three characters right then playing them on other teams with better assists is even easier.

MSS doesn’t have a AAA so going up against a Cable would be tough, especially against SCRUB, Matrix and Santhrax.

The only thing I can think of when going up against Cable is put pressure on him and don’t give him any room to build meter.

Yeah I love doing that j.hp, Mag assist, hp.grenade, land, AHVB, sometimes I do it without the grenade. As far as playing against MSP, I just do the typical laser lockdown and keep away tactics.

I know this is probably a stupid ass question but wtf is reverse ROW? Are you talking about the order of the team? Sentinel, Magneto, Cable? I usually put them in this order: Sentinel, Cable, Magneto.

I can’t stand going up against someone who abuses CapCom and BlackHeart AAA, that pisses me off.

really liking doom in place of storm in santhrax (doomthrax?), all that damage off of tri jump short super dhc into sentinel launch ff capcom assist seems to almost kill or kill most of the cast with average of below average defense, and i feel like doom can fight cable better as a solo character
