Just killed the Guardian Ape with Bell Demon active, that shit was fuckin intense lol. The first time I saw the transition to the second phase was crazy, and both of the Ninja Executions we’re godlike lol

Summary
This bitch is fun. Really starting to get into the groove here. Gasa watched me play and helped me along with some pointers and stuff. Worked together on figuring out Drunken whatshisface. Turns out you can pull one enemy and then him completely away from the group and fight him in the pond without aggroing anyone else. Made him a shit load easier to deal with. Ladybutterfly is fast but I feel she’s a lot easier to react to then the other bosses I fought and just overall a really good way to really settle into the combat. Combination of her being quick, humanoid, and reletivly normal to read while everyone else has been fucking huge or riding a horse and doing crazy attack animations lol.
I got her to her second phase and was doin alright even against the ghost clones, but then she summoned a Meteor Shower with the clones she had left and nuked my ass lol. Think I’ve got her pretty figured out tho over all so she will go down soon.
I gave Blazing Bull a few more shots to. He’s gonna be harder to figure out as he’s another big ass mofo with lots of wind up and a bit hard to see imo. Super big for the size of his boss room to. He has one of the best boss intros I have ever seen tho. Really funny imo.

Are there difficulty settings? And if so, can you change them after starting the game or are you stuck with whatever you picked? This will be my first foray into any FromSoftware games and they have a reputation for being hard as fuck. I’d like to be able to tone it down if I need to at first, until I learn the gameplay mechanics.

Yeah, the game demands a certain level of ability, and you just have to rise to the occasion. That said they introduce you gradually to stuff and you’ll even find a dude that lets you practice with him with no risk of death, to get a better idea of the gameplay.
Depending on the type of person you are, you could get really, really frustrated, but I guarantee you stuff can be overcome. We’re here to help, we’ve all been there lol
