they all feel the exact same as it is the same microswitch in all those buttons
I have both. It appears that they are made from identical molds. The plungers are inter-changable.
ok thanks. That makes the decision on buying them alot easier.
forgot the mention that kn’s have two piece plungers that let you put art inside. GNC’s also have two piece plungers.
gnc’s have a solid color rim and clear window plunger, and colored inner plunger.
gn’s plungers are 1 piece.
And it’s safe to assume the gnc, gn, and kn are all the same.

can’t put artwork in GNs.
Is there a FAQ or something somewhere that details all these differences?
I haven’t modded my stick yet and it would be handy to have a reference with this kind of info. I mean specifically for this kind of detail with the difference between all the seimitsu buttons, I know there are other info places for Seimitsu vs Sanwa, joystick types, etc.

I’m somewhat sure that the sanwa and seimitsu faq states alot of the individual specifications, but never compares them side by side.

Reviving old thread for 2 seconds to ask one more question. Aside from the fact that they are snap in and much shorter, is there any difference between the seimitsu ps-15 and the ps-14 gn. is the microswitch the same? same plunger? Will the ps-15 fit in a hole for obsf-30s? thanks.

i can’t read that. in simple terms, is the mm9-3 just softer or something?

Strangely enough the specs listed on that page are identical, but TKC MM9-3 definitely feels softer. Still not as soft as Sanwa SW-68, though.
Which reminds me of something I’ve wondered for a while.

I know you cannot read that.
But you don’t need to know Japanese to compare just the numbers.
I have both Microswitches in my hand.
They both feel same to me.
Data says they exact.

So they are the same? I wonder why Seimitsu specialty buttons seem to feel a little softer…maybe it’s just my imagination. Or maybe something to do with the size of the housing…?

I kind of thought the MM9-3 felt super slightly softer than MM9-4 also.
So I was testing them in my hand for an hour.
Other SRK Members do say that the Buttons you are referring are softer than regular Seimitsu also.
GeorgeC especially like PS-14-P.
NRX, I don’t know how much wrong my sentences are.
I had to open my book to see.

I wanted to use ??? in.

I prefer the PS-14-KN, the microswitchs are the same but the feeling is´nt, and for me the better buttons ever was the PS-14-K.
