After 20 hours I finally started chapter 3, and without spoiling it for anyone, I gotta say that cutscene at the start of chapter 3 had me laughing and was written and directed expertly.
Dunno if I ever had so much fun with video game cutscenes. That shit was funnier and more engaging than 90% of the shit that Hollywood craps out every year.
Also fucking furious. So I get out of the cutscene, and make a beeline straight to the casino to play some hold em, rack up 10k chips in 2 hours, then the fucking application faces an error and all my progress is lost.
That was a major bummer.
Theres a side mission where you write postcards for a local radio show. It has me rolling everytime, like its comedy gold but the thing with it for me is the way your character looks at the radio longely as his thought bubble comes up with whatever hes saying. 10/10.

& Those bastards. I lost the first one by only 1 recovery gift. Under 200k. 2nd time I thought I was boned since they lv 2 or 3 FEVER hit me so 4 tables of Rich guys leave at the same time for an empty room in the club with like 2 poor players at the corners. But I ran it back at them with what I had and won out by 8 million. Only using one 150K a night shift girl, Gold not even platinum.
LOL doing other areas and the purple afro old lady was the right pick for quite a few WEALTHY guys, 54 million take one night, targeting Mercury. Doing your area again, even with huge fanbase, still was like only 22.
They also should’ve kept the HEAT actions list since I do seem to see more of those and finally do them and see new ones without realizing it.
Those one shot in the whole game -spots to do them-ever ones in Yakuza 2 were a bit much, but in that vein a PS2 era kind of completion list to go back to check out like I really wanted to see the bar-based one. Too bad what with at the time, only that one GameFAQ guide existed with all half finished stuff - and it was for the import version.
