Guy from another telephone club wanted help with a crazy chick who kept calling. Turns out it wasnt a chick, but some ransomer with a voice modulated who got a wrong phone number, Kiryu beats his ass then needs to explain to a kid what a telephone club is loooooolll 
I find myself myself into Majima’s story way more than Kiryu’s. I like both but I kinda wish the entire game was dedicated to Majima since he’s so cool.
How many chapters total are there?

Yeah one thing back there, I never found the underground arena even after playing a lot. Just didn’t run into enough of the fighters, or always the same guys. Too much there to even have to do it for each character, I was running around town looking for them with just one character but wasn’t unlocking it.
This one’s fightclub might be a good way to get money if the prizes start going up in the later matches.

Ignore whiffing in place that part of the Rush combo constant punching. Kinda laughing at the dude wants to do 10 backdashes in a row… Then 12 to save him from dying where bosses can Super Armor or dodge out of your combos if you’re facing the front - something to note about always attacking from the back, works good with Kiryu Rush style. I probably didn’t have X dash out of that way back then too.

Finished the story today at 83 hrs logged…mannn. I work from home so I got all the time to game since I have to be in the house 40 hrs a week. But shit I legit haven’t no lifed a game like this since Yakuza 5. But yeah game was pretty great. Majima is definitely one mentally and spiritually strong dude. Dude went through a roller coaster this game. Overall enjoyed the story, only real flaw I have with it isn’t a flaw. Its just that I’m so used to seeing how Kiryu is in future games with him being feared/respected, trying to raise Haruka and etc. So it was weird playing a Yakuza game without those elements.
But yeah it was def great. I’ve been doing so many ps4shares and shit I’ve gotten like 3-4 friends to buy the game and they all love it. Thought the ending was good, and showed a lot of character dev for Majima, and its cool to see what made him decided to live all wild and reckless. I assumed he was always like that, but him being all wild and shit is actually a result of some strong character dev imo.
In terms of flaws…uh only glaring thing to me was I thought a lot of the fight music was kinda weak compared to other games. That’s about it lol. Still like 6 songs from the game I really enjoyed though.
Can’t wait for Kiwami, will be cool to revisit Yakuza 1 without that damn dub and updated gameplay. Wonder if Yakuza 2 will get a remake.
Daigo Kuze’s theme though… that shit is hot fire.

Can’t even upgrade my shit anymore since I haven’t learned his 3rd style. Just sitting on 600 millon like a turd.
Early game you wanna save your cash, you can also safely progress to chapter 6. You get hold of your business at this point and you want as much yen as possible to invest. Also you can clean up most of the side quests.
Think I spent 70% of my game time in chp 6 easily lol.

Fuuuuck dude. I almost put like 10 friends onto Yakuza off ps4shares. All these dudes are fuckin loving it too. One dudes ps4 crapped out on him, so while he gets it fixed he swooped a cheap ps3 to play Yakuza 4 and hes been addicted. Dude been talkin about the game nonstop for like 3 days. Hes on Tanimuras arc
My other homie playing Y4 is also loving it to the point where hes mad that work and etc is cutting into his playtime. Hes even already said Yakuza 0 will be one of his first purchases once he swoops a ps4.
So hyped to see the reception the series is getting from newcomers

I cleared the game at around ~27 hours @ 21.50% completion. There’s a specific boss fight towards the end that ended up being one of the highlights of the entire game for me, and he looks like this guy. I’m sure you know who I’m talking about:

Yea and the way he avoids dem claws at the start of the fight 
80 odd hours bud lol, went ball deep with the mini games, doesnt help that am absolute trash at most of them. 3 of the karaoke songs require perfect inputs etc, done all the dancing shit save 3 songs on hard, but am reallly close, did the 2 impossible dance battles tho etc. Fucking trying to find fish, stocking up on hangover cure to finish off some bars etc etc.
The grind is real but so is the desire to finish it, I mean fuck it why not I got until summer until Yakuza 1 redux comes out.
