Kega Fusion that shit. I’m up for it.

Sega would have been ok if they had Sonic games as good as fans

Putting out a FPS that could compete with MW3 and COD with good multiplayer would have been good also
That mushroom hill looks a awful lot like the 3DS version of Sonic Generations. Almost like a test for it. And Sonic Fan Remix got as far as a VERY incomplete Chemical Plant demo. Sucks that may never be finished. And lol at the bitching over Sonic 2 HD. Seriously it’s like sonic fans are there own worst enemy and this is coming from a fan as well. Lost seems like a real bitch from that write up on sonic retro.
Sonic Fan Remix is a goddamn mess. I love the level of detail in the stages but they went overboard with it. It’s highly distracting and the foliage covering the stage obscures the screen most the time. I don’t want a official Sonic game looking like that. What Sonic Team with the Sonic 4 games is just right (in terms of presentation that is).
Yeah the only real flaw with sonic fan remix. A bit too much stuff going on. Hard to see somethings.

I just constantly walked away from their jumpkicks and grabs, and tried to grab/throw them whenever they weren’t airborne. Only Axel and Blaze, Adam’s walk is too slow. I think Souther (claw boss) is tougher than the twins, with that blur attack of his.
EDIT: It’s a damn shame the SFR project stopped, but Generations kind of made it redundant.

Great vertical movement. My brother and I actually mastered the first 2 SoR’s (beating 2 on Mania leads to the greatest feeling ever). I still have trouble with those blaze-clones but what’s always been key here is moving either upwards or downwards to them at the right time to slap the shit out of them. Also, like [S]the other poster[/S] [S]Taito[/S] Mr. X said, you gotta time your jump attacks correctly so that either A) you miss because they dodged or B) you kick her in her face. The throws can be so aggravating but that’s why you learn when to jump and when to keep your fists a-flyin’
EDIT: Damn, today’s seriously not my day.
+1 for Sonic fan remix, I like the kitchen sink approach and chemical plant was kinda fun too.
Like the other cats said, great vertical movement. VIP: Don’t let them grab you from behind. If they grab you from the front to toss you over them, hold Up+C (or whatever button you have jump assigned to) while in mid-air to land on your feet. Can’t jump kick forever because time is a factor.

Sega’s so busy with boring-ass Sonic, why don’t they give us a graphically updated Streets Of Rage and Spike-Out…and maybe MERGE the 2 ips?

I’ll take a cluttered Hill Zone over Sonic 4 anyday. The point is that fans make better Sonic games than Sega, even if they are incomplete. I even like Sonic XG better that S4, at least it followed the Sonic storyline
I agree with a new Streets Of Rage. That game with this generations graphics and online play would be a huge sell IMO. Add more gameplay styles like a Vs where you and someone can play online against two or four other people. Even a time challenge against others to see who can beat a stage or the game the fastest. I think Sega’s constant remake or addition to the Sonic franchise is due to lack of innovation and creativity in other gaming genres.
Didn’t Sega make Nights? Theres a game that people would get behind with updated graphics
They did a remix of the game for the Wii and there was also a Sega Ages Collection version of it for the PS2… I think the PS2 had the original unmodified Saturn game as well as a version cleaned up with PS2 graphic filters.
Sega, Sega, Sega… <Shakes head>
You’re really becoming the Atari of the early 21st Century, aren’t you?
I wouldn’t care if they died at this point. Can’t even get a damn 2D Sonic game correct these days smh.

That’s SoR2, in SoR1 you hit A+B right before landing.
EDIT: I mean attack + jump (I always mapped attack and jump to A and B and the car bomb to C)
im most worried about VIRTUA FIGHTER 6

Ditto here. For years all I knew what that in all SoR’s, the best way to tech a throw would be to just mash circles on the dpad, mash the buttons and pray it works. I’ve never met someone who knew the commands for each individual SoR…
No, boss. I have the game. It’s Up+C. A’s the Special, B+C is the backhand/rear attack.
Everybody remember that JET SET RADDDIIIOOOOOOO HD comes out this summer. All Sega fans should get it.

Ok, I had no idea up+jump worked in the first game. I’ve been using the attack+jump buttons to tech throws in SoR1 for years (decades). I guess the back attack cancels the throw impact animation.
