Sorry if this is a dumb question: do you need any type of USB to PS adapter, or can you just plug it into the PS3?
They plug directly into the system’s USB ports.
Bout my usb controller and got it about a week ago. Today the dpad broke off. Never dropped it or anything.

bestbuy-enjoy I have had 2 transactions with. First for 1 and after the auction was over I got the controller in 2 weeks. The second time I ordered 2 and got it in about the same amount of time. The shipping is really cheap, he stuffs the box in a bubble mailer and out it goes. Don’t expect an uncrushed box, but the pads got here okay and work.
Does anyone know how to pad hack this controller ??? I need some pic or link it will help a lot. Thanks

just to inform you that i ordered a pair of white controllers from the seller bestbuy-enjoy and they’re different than the one I bought 3 months ago (from the same seller though). the color of the buttons, the material of the dpad which is weird and not the same as my other pads…
so it seems they’re now trying to make money with fake merchandises… so be warned. Anyway it’s very suspicious to see they’re still selling them considering they’ve been selling those control pads since last august… I think the stocks should have extincted by now but this is not the case apparently.
considering the madcatz fightpads are getting negative feedback, I’m going to go for a couple of Sega controllers but don’t want to get scammed. Any of these sellers legit? How do we know a fake one from an authentic controller?

but it works great is what matters. I cant seem to forward dash the best , also I really got to get used to the controls ,
small tip - I got rid of my MP and now I am using it as a Focus button. 1 button focus attack works better and quicker on the small button on the sega joystick. Try is out.
,… gotta get used to it and once you do it would be really nice. I recommend to grab 2.

I don’t like it. The dpad and buttons have that cheap, low quality Chinese-made feeling. I’ll stick to my PS2 Saturn pad.
I bought one from linawudup-wifi or watevever, and it works great
It feels like a Saturn pad, except with clicky shoulder buttons. I’ve had no problems with it and am totally happy with it.
Is there even such a thing as a legit USB saturn controller?

I’m just worried about dpad falling off 1 or 2 month after getting it.

I received mine about a week ago. I think it took about twelve days to come, which is quite fast. I really like the controller a lot, it’s just too bad the cable length is a bit short.

Well, managed to snag one from litianedup_wifi and also ordered two from focalprice. The controllers are identical but a couple key differences.
The one from litianedup_wifi was gray and had the ISS-5001 model # on the back.
The ones from focal price were the black and white ones with the ISS-5001-01 model # on the back.
But the big difference here was the muddiness of the buttons. The ones from focalprice definitely were harder to press than the one I got from litianedup_wifi (ebay). Otherwise the top triggers and dpad were identical. Unfortunately, I don’t have an original saturn pad to compare.
