What’s the sign-up cutoff date?
Last year, I got a gift card (which was the bare minimum) late as hell, like end of January late. I usually give good presents for SS. But getting someone as my SS who clearly didn’t actually have the money to participate kinda stinks.
Hence, we have a higher minimum this year to weed out guys who just want awesome presents without actually giving awesome presents.
And the delivery confirmation thing is to make sure you guys send out on time. None of this, “I’m in a rough spot right now, I’ll send it later”.
I’ll put it this way. If you can’t buy or make a gift now, chances are you DEFINITELY won’t be able to come December, since money is always tighter at the end of the year. If that’s the case, DON’T SIGN UP.
