SeattleVersus has surpassed homepage status

SeattleVersus is your HOME PAGE? Your my dude if so! Anyways, thank you all again for the encouraging comments :lovin:

I just finished up the part 2 to my “Tournament Mentality” article that I’ve been working on. This one has to do with confidence in matches and a bit about how crowd affects can happen during matches as well.

Tournament Mentality: Confidence

I’d love to hear what you guys think!

good stuff m.d.

yeah its my home page! i havent been making it out to events and shit but i still want to know whats going on. plus those tournament mentality articles are great.

Well thanks man, I’m glad you like the stuff we’re throwin out!

On another note, we got some more fresh content going on. I’m REALLY excited to announce Frank’s “Seattle History Lessons.”

Seattle History Lessons with Frankdadank
Frank takes us back 10 years in the past and shows us what the scene was like in the very beginning. I’m personally really excited about this series as I’ve always wanted to see how our scene evolved into what it is today.

We also came out with another poll as well about Super Street Fighter 4’s new features, so give it a look and tell us what ya think!

More Super Street Fighter 4 scans came out today. These screens mainly had to do with the online features we heard about in the latest issue of Famitsu earlier in the week. Not to much action with these scans but if your interested you can check em out here: Street Fighter 4 Online mode screens

I also just wanted to mention that updates are flying fast and if you can’t get enough of the hard hitting articles like video throwbacks, community scuttlebutt, Seattle history lessons or strategy articles, alway know that our slide bar is where you can find all of our most popular content. News happens all the time, but SV is more about experiencing the community rather then bringing info and news to people. Anyways, just thought I’d let you guys know so you didn’t have to go digging through articles to find what your REALLY looking for!

Good shit. Frank’s article was a lot of fun to read plus that picture of Mandel is priceless. This is definitely my go-to place for SSF4 info now.

Awesome to hear Mike! Frank’s article is amazing…I just thought it would be fitting to have young ass Mandel be part of the first History Lesson.

I wrote another article regarding the most recent video that came out a couple hours ago. I didn’t cover the video as much as I did the rumors and talk that the video has given people to speculate over. This video has brought at least 6 different rumors…my favorite I think being:

You can check out the full article here: Super Street Fighter 4 scuttlebutt!?

I also enjoyed the billboard in the “wreck the car” bonus stage :razzy:

i xcopied you. my work homepage is now seattle versus.

SV is real.

Fixed it for you.

Loving this constantly updated content, yo. Seriously.

So we just came out with another strategy article concerning Tekken basics:

Tekken 101: Part 1

SV’s own, Zigmover21 will be coming out with a series of Tekken 101 strategies ranging from basic strategy, to in depth detailed advanced stuff. Hope you enjoy!

A couple updates for today! First being last night’s Tournament Wars coverage. Just a little break down of what went down during matches.

Tournament Wars Coverage!

With the tournament wars article, I also did the first of SeattleVersus newest series “Custom Arcade Spotlight.” Basically this is a column where I personally showcase customized arcade sticks that go beyond just being a normal arcade stick.

Custom Stick Spotlight

Hope you guys enjoy!

I love it.

Me too!

Nice updates, Mr. Davis and crew.

Btw, the front page layout is all messed up for me. It was fine the other day. ??

Rob, thanks for the article, I want to learn T6 casually so that did help a noob like me.

yo will be in the area come this weekend.
although i’m not looking to game i was wondering where i should go to find a lounge/ club scene in seattle.
also where could i score some sticky icky weed

any help appreciated

If you’re looking to start the night off with a few drinks, come by tournamentwars and grab some $6 u-call its, way better prices than those you would find at any bar or club in the area.

as far as lounges go, Bel-town is a great area, there’s Pioneer square for clubs. Capitol Hill also has a lot of clubs/bar for the gay community (if you go that route).

Hmm, what does it look like for you Nolan? Anyway that you can describe it to me or maybe e’mail me a screen shot? I’ll have Eliott check it out.
