Imo I really feel its way to early to tell what type of game it will turn out to be. You should give it more time before making any kind of final judgement.
About all I know is what Zig told me, apparantely Bob is dope which would be awesome and Jin has some new stance and they nerfed his parry. How exactly is it nerfed anyway?
I also read on TZ that backdashing is alot better in this game and will lead to alot of whiffed moves. Could this lead to a more defensive/turtling type of gameplay? Its just a question not a knock, im not at the point to where I can play it so im just trying to gather info.
BTW Super Joe, are you going to beast King in this one? Im curious as to how he plays in T5.

I’m down to go play some T5 tomorrow at tilt (if it really is 50 cent). If anybody needs a ride from UW I can probably supply that but I dunno about coming back tho.

yep tilts T5 is down 2 50 cents, it got alot play 2 day, and yep i have 2 belong 2 the Asuka ownage club. im not giving up the game completly im just gonna give it a slow start. i can’t stand top teir characters, so i don’t care about the jin thing. just give me a minute, maybe everything will turn out lovely. look out 4 Contra Kaazama
I finally got to play T5 yesterday. Had some pretty epic games with Super Snatch. I like the game a lot. I like how it plays a lot. And I like the fact that mad axes are still in the game. Fuck yes. Mad axe a nigga to death please. I’ll probably start a card with Julia some time soon. As is the case with anything that isn’t a team game, I’m having trouble deciding on who else to learn in that game. I tried Hwoarang, Kazuya, and Jin besides Julia. Hwoarang is just weird to me. Kazuya and Jin are tight to me though so I may pick one of those niggas. Plus whoever’s tight to me out of the time released people.
I’ll be leaving school around 12:30 today Rob. I’ll be at the hub.

Asuka is good, you should still keep up with her man. From what I’ve seen she has a good mix-up game and her wake-ups aren’t that bad either. I’m not going to play her just yet though haha.

Jin’s parry isn’t as cheap as it use to be, he dosen’t get AS MUCH of an advantage off of parried attacks like he did in Tekken4. Which is great becasue a big part of why Tekken 4 sucked was becasue of that bitch Jin!
No the BD in Tekken 5 sucks now as far as turteling goes. You can infinate BD in Tekken 5 the same way you can in Tag b,b~d/b, BUT what they did to punish people who BD all damn day is that the forward dash (f,f) covers WAY more than it use to. So if someone was to back dash all day and be a bitch it’s NOW not hard to put pressure on them :).
And of course I’m beasting with King man, what kind of question is that? haha…He’s fuckinb BUFF as fuck, I be raping people left and right w/him.

Yeah, backdash is good, but there are HELLA moves now that advance forwards. Also, f+throw has INSANE range.
Plus, there are walls on all but 2 stages, so it’s not like you can backdash forever.
Man there are to many people wanting to play Asuka already. I was hoping I was the only one that wanted to play her. Most of it is because of the fact that im a Jun player though.

ok i played this game finally, and it’s fucking great. I already bought a card gasp for kazuya, he has a lot of nice moves and such, excpet for the fact that wgf hits high (grrrr). his new punch after hell sweep looks tight and he does damage…do i need more? yes, but i have to wait til mz. throw dem blows is time released.
BTW i bought a color thingy for kaz, but it was for his gloves…whooops!
