I think we should organize something big, whether it be in Seattle or PDX. I was talking to Fatbear and other PDX players about this at Evo. The “mini” tourneys at Zach’s or my place are great, but not really a reason to drive. We need to start organizing NW majors (and not only for ST, I think this should be done for all Evo games). NW majors that have a real buy in and real prize (we can flatten the prize distribution so it isn’t so top heavy to encourage more participation as well). NW majors that matter, so people really practice for them and play seriously. We can either host on console at someone’s house or arcade, either way.

You should make a thread for this =]. Zach and I talk a lot about how nasty it is that Seattle doesn’t have an arcade. Major wise we’ve only had one up here and that was Northwest Regionals which took place at Lanwerx. Very well run tourney, Zach was the man behind it. For Marvel we had a bunch of special guests, Xecutioner, Matrix, Randy Lew, to name a few. He’s also made mention of a couple ideas to me kinda recently. Maybe you two should form Voltron.

As for the comment about your topics being copied or whatever, there was one thread made with no joke intentions about Seattle 3s. Obviously since seattle 3s is a joke to certain people, many fad threads occurred afterwards.

People come into my threads and post about random bullshit all the time, and basically drown out the original intent, so I don’t see how your topics are some holy exception. You’re not a mod and I don’t follow your orders.

So, unless zach or some other mod decides that I need to shut the fuck up, then I don’t plan to.

I only responded to the comments because somehow they find there way into every conversation regardless of context. It tends to grate after a while and at some point I’m going to bring it up. My responses are no more intrusive or obstructing or off-topic then the post I respond to. So, if you have a problem with my responses you might want to look at their instigators.

you got so mad that you erased your posts? as much shit is being thrown about 3s in this thread there was a point in time where a small 3s scene was brewing, then a few game hoggin ass individuals at Zach’s house ruined that whole scene in one swoop.

I even made the effort to try to play this game again, being as rusty as i was. Then some guy came up and made a fool outta me at GW last time i was there, not a good way to try to build your scene up by just raping people and making them look like they are clearly wasting their time.
