Will this be streamed or will it be saved for the dvd since it’s the main event?

We’re streaming as much as we can this year, but the schedule isn’t finalized because we have so many things going on. I believe we will be streaming the main events.

We want people to come out to see everything live, but it doesn’t make sense to withhold content since we’re only announcing this two weeks before the tournament.

FACENC - We are fairly certain we will have H2H setup with Astro City cabs. There is also American Showcase for those players who would like to use HAPP. Also there will be converters available to use. I think we got it all covered but if you have a few extra Astro City cabs laying around your house go ahead and toss those in your suitcase and bring them up!

Speaking of Marvel Events… Last year at evo was Sanford vs. Team Hevad. While Sanford (most would assume) would beat most of the individuals on the team in a long set, adapting to different styles makes it very hard for every competitor. While Sanford had to try to adapt from a rush crazy msp (Schmidt) to a very turtle style Santhrax (Neo) to a Zone heavy cheap pad player (me) to a zone heavy more rush friendly santhrax (Chunksta), we four got to study his gameplay/weaknesses as we waited four our turns. This was highly advantageous for team Hevad and the results showed. This kind of match causes even champions to crumble. Similarly Daigo did a match called “The Daigo Concept” which resulted in him losing to Mago. Again, this is very hard for any player to adapt to giving a clear advantage to the group with multiple team members.

This time it is West Coast’s turn to be on the chopping block. What is being discussed by the man that makes things happen (Fugee) is a concept match with yours truly on the opposite side this time. Fanatiq vs a team of East Coast killers: Josh360, Smooth Viper, Baby Wolverine, Matrix and Executioner. The specifics haven’t all been worked out but for those on the east coast team, expect to be contacted soon. Post who you like so we can gauge pupblic opinion on this one.
